My best friend and I (clarinet bus buddies for life) played this game together and absolutely loved it. All of the characters were well written and the story was captivating!!!! Going into this game I didn't expect to both laugh and cry as hard as I did but here we are. I absoluletly loved every minute of it and can't recommend this game enough!

This game gives a lot of content and many great story lines that were so much fun to discover! It's LGBTQ-friendly and very modern in views and let's face it: the main character is badass!

日本語未対応の乙女ゲームですが、とても面白かったです。英語が苦手でも翻訳ツール等があれば遊べます。 35個以上のエンディングに攻略人数は７人＋サイドストーリーや真相ルートなど、スチルも49枚以上もあり、ボリューム満点。 アートブックやサントラもDLCで販売しています。 選択肢が多いため行き詰まることもありますが、公式サイトに攻略ガイドがあり、選択肢スキップ機能もあるのでエンドリストを最後まで埋めることが出来ました。 ●システム 育成要素はなく、時間制限付きミニゲームもありません。 おすすめ攻略順は公式サイトのガイドにも載っていますが、初見プレイは好きなor気になったキャラクターを追いかけて遊ぶほうが面白いと思います。 ●ストーリー 英語が苦手な人の為にあらすじ意訳。 ここ何年かブルーマウンテンバンディッツ高校のマーチング・バンドは、やる気のない監督に苦しめられ成績も士気も過去最低になり、学校も音楽プログラムに敬意を払わなくなってしまった。 すべてを好転させたいと決意した主人公・ケイデンス（名前変更可）は、ブルーマウンテン高のOBであり新任のバンドディレクターである、ヴィクター・ワイリー氏とともに総指揮者として３年生になる。 バンドを競技会向けの状態に仕上げるのは口で言うほど簡単ではないが、主人公とワイリー氏にはやり遂げようとする意欲と楽観主義が備わっている。 今年のフィールド・ショーを完璧にするため、バンドは社会を離れてペンシルべニア州の森の中にあるスポーツ施設、キャンプ・ベアポウで２週間を過ごすことに。 友情を育み、思い出を作り、リーダーとしての成長、リハーサルの合間には恋を見つけることも…。 しかしながら、バンドは簡単なことじゃない。すべての選択には責任が伴い、説明のつかないハプニングが待ち構えている。 主人公はクラスメイトたちを勝利へと導くのか――或いはバンド全体がバラバラになっていくのを見届けてしまうことになるのか？ な感じのお話。 いわゆる学園ものです。 楽器にミリも触れてこなかった人生なので、知らない固有名詞は調べながら遊びましたが難しいということはなかったです。 身も蓋もない言いかたにはなってしまうのですが、強化合宿で大会に向けて頑張りつつ恋も見つけようぜ！的な。 言いかたは簡単ですがゲーム内容は濃厚です。 ●良かった点 ストーリーとキャラクターたちのやり取りがとにかく面白かったです。また音楽もいい。セーブスロットも結構あって良かったです。 サブキャラたちも含めたら本当にたくさんのキャラたちがいて、それでもごちゃごちゃにならずに綺麗に収まってるのがすごいと思いました。一部にボイスもあります。クラークのキレ気味のexcuse me!?が聞きたくてそれのセーブデータがあります（笑 選択肢が豊富で回収しきれないんじゃないかと思いましたが、上記の通り、通常スキップ機能と選択肢スキップ機能がありますのでエンドリストは全部回収できました。 ●不満点 不満点というよりは希望ですが、チャート機能あるいはSteamならではのバッジ機能があれば、エンド回収がまた楽しかったんじゃないかなぁと思いました。 エンドリストの１番目と２番目がなかなか埋まらず何回もやり直したので…。 それとフォントカラーも設定で変えられるように出来たならば、テキストが見づらいということもなかったのかなと思いました。 ●総評 これが開発元のデビュー作なんですか？ほんとに？となるほど丁寧に作られています。 一見ほのぼのしてるのかと思いきやハラハラドキドキな展開にもなり、攻略キャラのルートによってはバッドエンドでつらい目をみたり…((´;ω;｀)) しかしながらハッピーエンドはとても幸せに描かれてますし、大団円エンドもあるので、最後の最後まで楽しめました。 しかもゲーム本編だけなら3000円もしない。ほんとに？ 音楽も良く絵も気に入ったので私はサントラもアートブックも買いました。5000円もしない。すげぇや…。 キャラ全員の個性が色濃く、また思春期ならではの人間関係も面白かったです。 友情からの恋愛に発展するのが好きな人にぜひおすすめです。 SNSでは新作の開発状況の情報も載せられていたり、作品のFanfactが載せらていたりと情熱がすごい。 今後の開発元の展開がとても楽しみです！

I am sorry if my review will be a bit messy. I think it is my first review, and I am not a native speaker of English. Despite that, I really want to appreciate this game and convince others to give it a try (so this will be a review without spoilers). Before playing Band Camp Boyfriend I knew almost nothing about marching bands. At the beginning, I wondered if I would be able to play the game without knowing this topic. Glossary really helped with that. While playing, I learned many things about marching band and became immersed in the story. Humor, plot and characters were great. Especially, I liked that the characters weren't perfect, they seemed more real that way. Also, the music was great and very fitting. I hope you will create more games and maybe a sequel for Band Camp Boyfriend. (After interactions that happened in final route, I would really want to play certain character route)

I don't know anything about band, or camp, or having a camp boyfriend. So with all my inexperience I have to say I enjoyed this immensely and maybe the price point is a bit high but I think it makes up for it in the fact that despite the horrors there are a joyous and downright stupid laughs you can get from this as well as moments that really make you go awe. Still a shame that Aaron is the one I find most attractive in terms of being an interesting character and showing a genuine soft side to the MC but he has no route and neither does the secret new interest in the finale. However, that does not rule out that the best boy and partner of this entire game is non other than DOUG!

Such a wonderful game! All the characters are really charming, and the game has such a wonderful sense of humor. The twist is really intriguing too. There are some darker themes, and they're all handled really well. Tom's route changed me as a person. HIGHLY recommend.
