For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Bought it for the first time back in 2011. Absolutely superb D&D adaptation, only surpassed by KotC 2.
Love this game. Fantastic usage of D&D- one of the best I've come across. Take a simplified Ultima 7 and add the gold box SSI games, and you have this wonderful gem. At points i would go "wow, that's quite advanced for a 90's rpg....oh wait...."
4 1st level characters against dozen or so gnolls and orcs. Sure, I get the idea of not holding the hands, but this is ridiculous.

This is a fantastic game for anyone who loves D&D 3rd edition. This takes you through a lot of the storylines from classic adventures, and is like a romp through AD&D with 3e rules. Its really welcome and fantastic. The intro area is harder, and more boring and confusing than it should be. But if you get past that, the rest of the game is really good. I'd absolutely recommend it. I want to play the 2nd version, I just am hesitating on the graphics. Even these "MS Graphics" are honestly better and more colorful and vibrant (and simple enough) that it's excellent immersion in fantasy. The new ones are a muddy mess.
Great old school style, with a robust modern interface. Love the graphics, reminds me of Ultima 7, but combat is easy to keep on top of. Def recommend this game!
good game
A great tactical 3.5e game! Encounters are fun and challenging throughout.
This is the RPG to play for fans of classic fantasy & genuinely difficult, tactical combat with D&D-ish rules (It uses the open license version of D&D 3.5) This game has an average story where you slay lots of evil villains & save the land. It doesn't have fleshed out or developed character. But it does have good exploration, a real artstyle (reminds me of D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun) and the combat & character building is genuinely involving and rewarding. Bespoke, hand-crafted combat encounters with a brutal enemy AI that will use spells, abilities, grapples etc and will use them well is the absolute core of this game. It's more difficult than the average RPG, from start to finish. Highly recommended to those that think that sounds appealing. I do not recommend the game so much if you play RPGs mainly for story/characters.
Very fun game that is worthy of being a D&D 3.5e combat simulator, as other reviewers and people throughout the Internet have said. Despite being combat-focused, I feel you could get some DMing ideas from some of the combat encounters in the game. Just recently finished an ironman playthrough consisting of a dual-wielding light pick knight, a cleric, an enchanter wizard, and an evoker wizard without the maximum ability scores option enabled. Scribe scroll and crafting really saved my ass multiple times and helped me build my girls to be strong; there were a couple of times where I encountered game-breaking bugs whether from random encounters or from resting, so I had to use backup saves, which personally does not disqualify me since my party has not died in battle. The beginning battle with the orcs and gnolls was very tough and it ended many of my past ironman runs before they can even properly begin. However, once I got past the beginning battle was where I slowly but surely found my footing with my party and from there on, I had a tense but fun experience. The final boss was very difficulty and scary, but as I said, incredibly fun to face against. The post-game battle was absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, though. Pray that RNG is on your side or get obliterated instantaneously. Because of this, I pretty much said "♥♥♥♥ it" to the ironman at this point since I was so tired of binging this game and thus, I restored my backup save to constantly do the post-game battle until I beat it for the achievement, "Supreme Knight Commander". Yes, that means I did not legitimately earn that achievement, but, I needed it anyways to 100% the game or else it will bother me forever. There are still ten achievements left for me to get at the time of writing this review, but honestly, I think I'm going to take a small break from this game before going at it again with another party; with maximum ability scores enabled this time. Need a god-like party as a palate cleanser.
This game is a simple D&D 3.5 top-down RPG. The graphics aren't great. The sound isn't great. Despite those drawbacks I loved it, and played it through twice back to back. The story is interesting without being complex. The combats are challenging without being impossible. If you played D&D 3rd, Pathfinder or any of the early Ultima games, you will find a lot of nostalgia here.
