Did the quest to hunt hares with Hans, wasted 50 arrows to get 5 rabbits. Then the meat got to heavy, then I tried to travel, peasants ambushed me with clubs and a dog. The poor piss combat and the dog biting my arm killed me, rage quited, then entered again to a save 2 hours before. Nope. Uninstalled and thats the end of it.
A 2018 game which is still better in 2026 than CO:E33 as proven by the fact people still play KCD and don't play CO:E33.
KINGDOM ♥♥♥ has one of the best character development systems and storylines I've played. At the start, Henry is just a blacksmith's son. u are weak, so don't expect to win every fight. Avoid unnecessary combat until u learn "Master Strike" from Sir Bernard. Once u unlock it, combat becomes much more easier but, don't get overconfident. Taking on a whole group alone is still a bad idea. A few tips: * Learn "Master Strike" from Sir Bernard as soon as possible. * Keep leveling ur perks and skills. * Learn Alchemy. Potions are incredibly useful, and nowadays u can easily learn recipes from Google or YouTube instead of buying every book. * Sell unwanted loot and always haggle for better prices. What most frustrated me is that some quests can be really confusing, and the game still has a few bugs. There were times I almost gave up, but Reddit and YouTube helped me figure things out. For those complaining that u can't take on a whole group... what the fk did u expect? 😂 This game is built around realism. You think this is Assassin's Creed where u can solo 20 guards by spamming counter? That said, I have to admit... the controls for bow aiming and especially lockpicking on a controller are absolutely cursed. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who played the entire game with controller-only lockpicking. Luckily, I played on PC, so I could switch between my controller and mouse whenever I needed to. I still finished the game mostly with a controller, but yeah... this game definitely wasn't made with controller players in mind. Overall, it's an amazing RPG with a rewarding progression system. Stick with it. The early game is tough, but it's absolutely worth it. Good luck, and enjoy the journey.
