it's a great game, many opportunities to live your inner child. the only real problem with this game is that most cool stuff is locked away behind a dlc you have to buy, after buying this game for $50. the dlc's are all around the $10 so yea....

So, I have several hours into the game before this review (about ~70h) and it was on my old AM4 build. No issues. No hiccups. I installed it again on my current AM5 build and wow, the lagging, dropped FPS and the crashing was non-stop so I tried EVERYTHING except for changing the hyperthreading in BIOS. But nothing worked and I tried two things that solved it all for me so this is a tip if you have the issues I had (yes there will be a game review on itself, calm down.): 1. FPS dropping - I have a good machine, FPS shouldn't be dropping on low graphic settings. Either you play it on Full Screen-mode or Windowed-mode. Playing Ultra-settings. All good. 2. The crash loop. Now, I did say I tried a lot of things and nothing worked. Compability to W8, run as admin, exe-file, uninstall/install, change it into dir11... nah. What you want to do is this simple thing: Settings > System > Display > Graphics. Under the app for the game you click on the arrow and you'll get "GPU Preference", click and then "High Performance (GPU card-name)". That's it. It fixed all of it. Ok, the game review itself: I wish it was patched up so that people wouldn't have issues to just play the game. Just click install, play and just go nuts. BUT! I do love this game and I love the little flair it's gotten after JWE1. It's fun they upgraded stuff and simplified things that I was puzzled about in the first one. I do would have loved a little bit better tutorial, but Google is my friend in those question marks. It's a lot of fun that the actors from the movies is voice acting in it and it's really nice to chill to play if you love dinosaurs and the complicated situations you'll get put in whenever something strikes and you have to figure it out. I would say JWE2 would get a solid 7.5/10 Raptors from me. And the game itself gave me a puzzle to solve to make it work and I always appreciate a challenge.
