beautiful game and definitely 2 hours well spent! The only real downside to the game is that without having other people around, it really does feel like a 'press forward' sim and the game gets dull quickly. overall I'd give it a 6/10 or even a 7/10 for the stunning visual style that really sets it apart from other games. The lack of gameplay mechanics and interesting choices to make really brings down the score.

As a low cost, chill game, this is nice. Very different game play style. Nice sounds, a bit of a journey. There is a soft implied storyline for you to interpret. My hours is showing 0.7hrs but it was certainly longer than that, maybe 3hrs. On sale, this is worth exploring for something different. If the Devs make another game like this, I'd recommend making a stronger storyline for the player to buy into, just a little more. I didnt quite connect with the character, maybe more risk/suffering was needed along the way. I always like to have a chill game on the side to dip into and this scratched that itch nicely.

Journey is beautiful to look at and listen to and for a fairly old game plays great. But there is not much in terms of gameplay and I can imagine the solo playthroughs to be terribly boring (I played with the same person throughout and that alone made the game fun). The story is told in broad strokes and you mostly jump around, charge carpets and sing to your other players. Its a short game and can be comfortably finished in 2 hrs. I am not recommending it but this is a mixed review there is a lot to praise here (especially the anonymous co-op system) and I can also understand its influence and importance but ultimately it did not really sing for me.

Truly lovely surprise of a game. Going about your adventure and finding a player to experience it with is truly unique and endearing. As someone who mostly (and often prefers) single player games or long-haul cozy games that it just makes sense to play alone, it was stunning to be paired with another person. Just supporting each other, no competition or issues. My partner and I waited for each other, made sure we collected all the shiny relics, and ended the journey together. If someone was afk, we even waited for each other which was just a highlight of the connection this game naturally instills in players. It’s such a short and sweet game, but its impact lingers. Definitely play it, it’s just the length of a movie.

Brilliant game, definitely the best one TGC's put out to date. Extremely short, but extremely high replay value thanks to the unique traveler(s) you can run into every playthrough. The 100% reward is really fun 'w'
