While this game says “unsupported” on Linux/Steam Deck, it’s playable right out of the box. Only thing I changed was forcing Proton-GE 10-32. As a game? I’d say it’s really good for a Dungeon Crawler Minecraft spinoff, and for 10 dollars with all DLC on sale? It’s worth it.
Repetitive, spammy gameplay. If grinding boring enemies for random loot drops that feel samey appeals to you then go for it. It's just a serviceable, unrewarding time sink. Getting killed feels unfair and frustrating. Suddenly being overwhelmed is not challenging, it's cheap. Especially when the game is hard to visually read from all the spam. Despite the biome diversity, the game is ugly/uninteresting and doesn't benefit at all from the Minecraft theming. It's hard to judge terrain height level and where pitfalls are. The random generation majesty and drive to explore is just not present. The story is the most generic thing you could possibly imagine. A poor excuse for the gameplay. Wife and I were already exhausted by this formula in less than 2hrs.
Go to tower as soon as possible and finish it but before you are gonna leave and it gives you three options to choose before that use little column to go back to camp then go back to tower then click on tower and click continue then enter the weapon options and leave the game when you are gonna enter the game and continue the tower its gonna update levels of weapons and doing it repeatedly you can get really high level weapon at the start and you can finish the game much easier its there for years so I think its not a bug more like a feature so use it and thank me later.
It's a good game, I've been playing since launch on Xbox and I can't wait for the 2nd game! Runs smoothly but only on low settings because I have integrated graphics, but I've heard the performance is much better with a real GPU
First off, I like what little time I have in this game. I have been playing on my Steam Deck and it has been a good experience. However, Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom prevent you from being logged in on 2 different devices, preventing me from playing on my PC despite my Steam Deck not having the game running. It wasn't very clear about that when I first logged in on my PC. I did apparently have to upload my character which is when I found out it logged me out of my Steam Deck. I also ran into an issue where the resolution and scaling of the game on my Steam Deck were off presumably from launching the game on my ultra wide on my PC. This is not my first Microsoft sign-in game. This is the first one that does not let me freely switch between Steam Deck and PC.
A fun Diablo like to jam with friends with just enough depth to pull and keep you in without scaring away more casual players
This game blows, I get that it’s for kids but damn it’s so boring, levels are so long and you’re so slow and the combat is beyond oversimplified. I wouldn’t even give this game to a toddler give them fate or torchlight or something
cant play the game white screen after log in saying "You have reached a page that is not normally shown. Microsoft will never ask you to copy or share this URL" if someone can help me it will be nice
Considering the fact that both my husband and myself have played 30 hours of this game with each other in only two days, I'd say yeah... I definitely would recommend this game to other players, but only if they wish to lose sleep over something THIS addicting. I didn't think I would like it that much, but I think the grind and the reward system is what's feeding the dopamine. Not to mention, the adrenaline.
It's aight, played it for a week when it came out on gamepass but was never worth the full price imo, but getting the game and most dlc for less than $10 is worth it for a casual game to run every now and then.
