Jewel Match Origins - Palais Imperial Collector's Edition

I own and have played a lot of Suricate Games, and subsequently I was surprised at how awkward this game feels compared to the Solitaire games. For example, in the Solitaire games you can access the store for new items from the main scene, but in this game you can only access it when you are in a level. After struggling with trying to just resize the game window and trying and failing different launch options to get it to be smaller I accidentally discovered a "smaller window" option in the game options (which are only accessible from the main menu, not also reachable from the main scene screen as they would be in the Solitaire games). I bring these things up at the risk of sounding petty because in a landscape where games like this are thick on the ground, Suricate usually distinguishes itself with the little touches that make the game navigation and play process that much smoother and more comfortable. Need to change the game volume? It's at your fingertips. Ambient sound getting on your nerves all of a sudden? No problem. Ready to spend the gold you've been generating? It doesn't matter where in the game you are; you can do that. This game is just missing a lot of those things. I recently finished playing Jewel Match Solitaire X and the tremendous amount of game that it provides, and compared to it, this feels unfinished. In conclusion, I want to be clear that I think Suricate games are good games, and I look forward to purchasing and playing more of them in the future, but this one is a let down.

Good news, bad news. The good news is there's a LOT of content compared to other match 3 games. I mean a boatload. It's pretty, and interesting and a great waste of time (which is the best part of match 3 games). The bad news is that there are bugs. I haven't experienced anything deal=breaking, but I'm an easy going guy. Definitely worth the money.
