Jewel Match Origins 2 - Bavarian Palace Collector's Edition

This is not your usual match 3 game. This game is jam packed with content. At times it's like a puzzle; rather than just mindlessly matching you have to match with a purpose. There are item that have to be dropped off the bottom of the board by making matches under them. But also there's the Butterfly and another similar item that will move in the direction of a match made next to it. For instance if you make a match on the butterfly's left then it will move one space to the left. The goal is to get it to an edge of the board. There are the usual chained gems where you have to make a match to unchain the gem and then another match to get rid of the gem. A new addition in this game to the series is webbed gems that don't disappear when matched. They can be destroyed by the hammer, a useful item that becomes available for use once a certain number of gems have been matched (it has a circle that slowly fills up with color to indicate when the hammer will be ready) and then it can destroy one gem at first and more once the upgrade is purchased. Another new feature is the compass which switches the direction that gems "fall" if a match is made by it. As in previous games of this series there are the annoying snails, turtles, spiky balls, and rocks. In addition to the match 3 levels there are also "find the difference" mini games that can be unlocked and played. You have to get a number of pearls from the special pearl levels to unlock the mini games. Since this is the Collector's Edition I assume there is game+ content, though I have yet to finish the main game to verify that. If so then there will be a whole extra game available to be played once the main game is finished. So it's like getting two games for the price of one. Keep that in mind when looking at the price, you get a whole lot more than you pay for. I highly recommend the Jewel Match games to players who want a bit of extra challenge to the usual match 3 game. Also the music is pleasant in the background. Alas for story lovers I'm sorry to tell you there is no story in these games, but you do get to build a castle using the gold you earn during the match 3 levels. You buy pieces of the castle and build it little by little throughout the game.

Ich muss meinem Vorredner zum Teil widersprechen. Ja Grafik und Sound-Effekte sind tatsächlich identisch zum Vorgänger. Die Level sind jedoch komplett neu. Ich habe zu diesem Zweck extra den ersten Teil nochmal mit ein paar Level verglichen und gespielt um dieses herauszufinden (dieses ist im übrigen auch bei den Solitär-Spielen vom Hersteller der Fall). Außerdem gibt es einige neue Sonder-Juwelen und Funktionen, die es im Vorgänger nicht gab und der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist nun in 3 Stufen auswählbar (statt vorher 2). Hier von Betrug zu sprechen nur weil der zweite Teil optisch dem ersten ähnelt, halte ich für eine ungerechtfertigte Aussage, zumal man schon an den Screenshots sehen kann, auf was man sich einlässt, wenn man das Spiel kauft. Da gibt es andere Hersteller, denen man so etwas viel eher vorwerfen könnte. Von daher ist dieser zweite Teil absolut in Ordnung für diejenigen, welche schon den ersten Teil mochten. Es ist quasi mehr vom schon bekannten aber mit ein paar neuen Funktionen und komplett neuen Leveln. Für den aufgerufenen Preis absolut empfehlenswert.

A beautiful match 3 and decorate game with extra mini games, great graphics and soothing music.

Absolutely 100% recommend this game, ESPECIALLY if you are familiar with the Jewel Match games--I've played them all (Match 3 and Solitaire) and love them! This game has the same mechanics but has been "freshened" up with new music and new icons among the ones we're used to. I always play on "Relaxed" and I just enjoy playing the levels as I listen to the beautiful music. Another outstanding game in the Jewel Match franchise!

This was the most boomer purchase of my life yet but I dont regret anything.

强烈的目标驱动型的三消，音效和画面都比较精美。 玩家可以自己选择限制步数、限制时间、或者两者都不限制。 这个设置在关卡进行到中途的时候也可以修改，也就是说你原本选择限制步数，后面看步数不够用了，这个时候再换成不限制都是可以的。 在Steam三消游戏里的地位： 比我之前玩过的Miami Resort和Spooky Bonus都更优秀，甚至，我是说有可能，可以跟宝石迷阵3平起平坐。 这里面有些方格的种类，脑洞感挺强的，宝石迷阵3也没有这种体验。整个游玩体验就是停不下来的嗨嗨嗨。打击感一流。

All three Jewel Match Origins games have started crashing to desktop after installing Windows 11 (2H22) hope this can get sorted out because I love playing these games when I need to relax.

Tedious. So tedious. From the first level the levels are build in a way that it takes around 10 minutes to clear one. Also the speed with which you unlock the 'tools' to make levels more manageable is really slow. This makes the game not fun to play and especially not suited for a fast casual something when you have 5 minutes to spare.

Jewel Match Origins 2 - Bavarian Palace Collector's Edition may be a fun match 3 game but it will NOT launch!!! These developers have trouble with their games and you have to do work arounds to make them work. It black screens and says out of range. I'm tired of lazy devs. AVOID!!!
