About
This can’t be happening. There has never been a Great White in these waters before. Never. This is more than a coincidence. This shark is different. Relentless. As if it’s hunting you down… like it’s personal.
You’d better prepare yourself and strike back before it’s too late. Will you use the mini-sub, seaplane, sailboat, or scuba gear? Maybe it won’t even matter. Remember, you’re dealing with an unbelievably powerful eating machine.
Quick, grab your weapons, pack your explosives, and check your maps. It’s out there. You know it. And it’s coming for you. This is serious. This is the ultimate JAWS challenge.

Really enjoyed it, the enhanced mode is were it's at. Feels like what the game should have been and love the rewind
niiiiiiiice
il est adorable bruce !!!!!
Never played the original, but this is super fun to play on my Ayaneo Kun with the 4:3 Aspect enabled and CRT filter on. Takes me back to the retro days, but glad I picked this up. Dumped 2 and half hours in it on first launch. Worth it if you like retro games tuned up with bells and whistles. Also, I mean come on... it's JAWS man!
The good: It's an improvement over the NES version and it also contains that version as well. I played the enhanced mode and while; it was interesting for about an hour; it gets redundant really quickly. It's nice to see some rpg elements in it. However--every time you die, those upgrades drop and this is where I became very frustrated. Is it worth $20? I'd say no. wait until it goes on sale--I think it should be at most $10 but I am on a fixed income. I streamed the game and around the second time I had worn Jaws down, I had gotten bored of the game. Maybe it's the cynic in me; but it's artificial padding: you have to catch him 4 times, in 4 days, I think--anyway, it's supposed to be based around the four movies; but each time a new hunt starts, you lose everything you collected on the previous day; your sonar, your auto fire, health, speed ect. This was a deal-breaker for me and that's why I got a refund. It was a nice trip down memory lane, for awhile. This was one of my favorite games, when I was a little boy. Contrary what people will say about LJN: Not everything the published was terrible--just a lot of it. :)
This game holds a special place in my fart.. it was the first AVGN video I ever watched. I then bought the NES game, played it and really liked it. I am a big fan of this remaster but having the option to play the OG version was a great idea. I had alot of fun here. I hope to see more games like this.
Pretty neat. This contains the NES-version and an enhanced version where you upgrade your stats and complete little side quests.
good
The enhanced version is great, fun little systems that mix up the gameplay, love all the retro sou effects of my childhood
It is a fun game, and the enhanced version is good for two hours of play. However, It is definitely not worth the $15 it is selling for. As others have mentioned, it is a glorified romhack of the NES game. So take that into consideration.
