Me encanto. De chiquito siempre me gusto el juego de Tiburon de la NES, asi que yo recibi con brazos abiertos esta edicion. El tema es que, esperaba que solo fuera un port del juego orignal. Decidi probar la version mejorada y... aunque me gusta el juego de la NES, este remake es mucho mejor. Lo recomiendo si queres un RPG clasico bien chill.

It is a fun game, and the enhanced version is good for two hours of play. However, It is definitely not worth the $15 it is selling for. As others have mentioned, it is a glorified romhack of the NES game. So take that into consideration.

The Enhanced Mode is great!

So Jaws NES, a game known for not being very good has been rereleased. You might think, who is this for? What value could this possibly have? Do "I" even care? Well reader, let me give you the rundown. There are 2 "Editions" of the game to play, Classic and Enhanced. Classic Edition is the original game in all it's glory, with no changes as far as I could tell. You have some lives, you have to upgrade your power by collecting and trading sea shells to the 2 ports on the map. You die in one hit. This game has a very small scope, and if you know exactly what you're doing, you can beat this game in like 8 - 10 minutes. [b]Enhanced edition[/b] is an [b]entirely different beast.[/b] Enhanced edition is a [b]new game made out of the old game's assets,[/b] and I don't mean that in a bad way. [b]This game features 4 chapters[/b] you progress through defeating Jaws each time. [b]You have infinite lives, as well as power, energy(health), and speed stats that you upgrade by spending money you get by collecting shells or fighting Jaws[/b]. This game features [b]overworld encounters like zelda 2, in that you see them on the overworld and touch them to initiate.[/b] The ports have people you talk to who ask you to [b]hunt down minibosses or find lost items[/b] and give you upgrades and story progress in return. You also have access to [b]saving[/b] so you don't have to worry about doing everything in one go. The game gets pretty frantic as enemies become quite fast and deadly. If by some chance you are already a fan of original NES Jaws, this is actually a really great time. If you are curious and wonder what this is about, the new Enhanced edition is still a pretty cool experience! Kind of hard to recommend to a general audience, but big recommend to the right kind of person! I have played the original game numerous times and cleared classic mode in maybe 10 minutes. I finished enhanced edition in 2 hours and 40 minutes and got the rank of scientist

The original game is kind of a classic in my memory banks. The enhanced edition doesn't really feel much better than the original. It has some new elements that are good, but otherwise it just feels like they made the game slightly more tedious. I'd only recommend it to fans of the original game that really want to play it again without the use of the original cartridge or via emulation and roms found somewhere on the interwebs.

LRG took the skeleton of a game and gave it life. Jaws remastered feels more thought out and less rushed than the original, which is available to play here as well. Nostalgia feel with new depth. The rewind feature made a hard game more enjoyable, giving collectables new life as enemies, doing away with 1 hit 1 death gameplay and giving us more in depth upgrade ability really added value to this game. My only complaint was each phase ends the same. I would have loved to see some 8bit "smile you son of" and variance. Overall a 8/10. Nostalgic, easy to pick up and put down, can occassionally become bullet hell with sharks but keep at your upgrades, more thought and love given to the game than I could have predicted. Mind you it does not auto save, you need to manually do that before hopping off for the day.
