Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't remember when I got this one, was years ago. Don't look at my playtime, it was probably to farm for steamcards. This game isn't any good. The gameplay is mindless shooting, the graphics are extremely busy and ugly I can't tell the enemy bullets from the explosion particles and the pixel diarrhea that is going on, the sound effects are very basic and broken, (if two same sounds play at the same time, they will play at double the volume and clip). Overall not polished at all. Like I would expect this quality from a 2 day game jam. Not a 5€ steam release. Why did I play this? I was browsing my steam library and decided to play this on a whim.
Joguinho sensacional. Leve, barato e gameplay superfluída. É daqueles injustiçados que olhando não damos nada e jogando ficamos viciado e contentes de jogar. Possui cartinhas steam e seu valor promocional já chegou a ser R$1,15

I... what, no, just don't.
It's a pixel heavy ripoff of older, better arcade games like SNKs Metal Slug from 1996. I'm not sure how it's possible to rip off a game from the 1990's in 2015 (almost 20 years later!) and come out with worse graphics, but Orangepixel somehow managed it. Less content, worse graphics. Gameplay is okay but gets repetitive almost immediately. Fans of the genre would be better off just playing Metal Slug on an emulator.
Gunslugs, developed by Orangepixel and published in collaboration with HandyGames, is a high-octane, retro-inspired run-and-gun shooter that delivers relentless arcade-style action. Released in 2013, the game channels the spirit of classic shooters like Metal Slug and Contra, offering players a chaotic, fast-paced experience filled with explosions, enemies, and creative weaponry. Its accessibility across multiple platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices, ensures that fans of retro action can enjoy its intense gameplay in a variety of settings. The game puts players in control of the elite Gunslugs squad, tasked with taking down the sinister Black Duck Army. Each level is procedurally generated, providing a unique layout every time and keeping players on their toes. This design choice ensures a high degree of replayability, as no two playthroughs are exactly alike. Players must navigate through levels packed with enemies, environmental hazards, and traps, requiring quick reflexes, strategic use of cover, and mastery of movement mechanics to survive. The combination of unpredictability and escalating difficulty maintains a constant sense of tension and excitement throughout the game. One of the defining aspects of Gunslugs is its emphasis on over-the-top, chaotic action. Players can wield a diverse arsenal of weapons, ranging from flamethrowers and rocket launchers to quirky options like a chicken gun that shoots eggs. The game’s responsive controls allow precise navigation even amid the frenzy of gunfire, explosions, and enemy projectiles. Permadeath mechanics heighten the stakes, making each decision and movement critical, while the intensity of the combat creates a satisfying adrenaline rush that rewards skill and timing. Visually, the game embraces a vibrant, minimalist pixel art style that balances nostalgia with clarity. Levels are colorful and distinct, each with its own theme and hazards, while character sprites are expressive despite their simplicity. Explosions and environmental effects are exaggerated, adding to the chaotic charm of the game. The energetic chiptune soundtrack perfectly complements the action, driving the pace of each level and enhancing the immersive arcade experience. The content variety in Gunslugs is impressive for an indie title. Players can unlock multiple characters, each with unique abilities and playstyles, encouraging experimentation and replayability. Hidden secrets, mini-games, and different enemy configurations further enrich the experience, providing challenges for both newcomers and seasoned players. The game’s quick-paced levels strike a careful balance, ensuring that the action remains engaging without overstaying its welcome. While Gunslugs excels in delivering exhilarating action, it may not appeal to everyone. Its retro aesthetic and steep difficulty curve can be intimidating for casual players, and the random nature of some levels can occasionally lead to frustrating encounters. However, for those who appreciate skill-based gameplay, fast reflexes, and the nostalgic charm of arcade shooters, Gunslugs offers a deeply satisfying and memorable experience. Overall, Gunslugs is a thrilling, adrenaline-fueled shooter that successfully captures the essence of classic arcade games while introducing modern twists to keep the gameplay fresh. Its chaotic combat, vibrant visuals, and challenging levels make it a standout in the run-and-gun genre. For players seeking a fast-paced, nostalgic, and endlessly replayable action game, Gunslugs delivers a highly entertaining and rewarding adventure. Rating: 8/10
Shot slug cannons that left glitter trails and sang showtunes. Enemies paused to clap. I didn’t win - I made peace with slime.
