Feels like a horrible cash grab of a game-- Just a rehash of the anime's plot, absolutely nothing new of substance. Can't rebind the horrible keyboard controls, and -every single dungeon dive is essentially the same-. Hard skip unless you -really- love the show and the thought of your hands cramping up from mashing Z to attack.
This game needs a complete reworking of the control system if they want a positive review. You cannot set your keybindings in the game, only switch between 3 keybindings the game already has. With a controller, "confirm" is set to the right analog stick clicking in. ...again, you cannot assign keys at all, but you are expected to use the right stick click to progress text in the game. I also pressed every button and "back" isn't one of them. Again, without a proper control scheme, I can't even properly rate the rest of the content. I hope they address it
Handlung
Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?“.
⚠️️ Potenzielle Triggerpunkte! ⚠️

Blut und Gewalt
Nacktheit (zensiert)

🎮Gameplay🎮

Einige Original-CGs
❌Kontra:

Dungeon-Gameplay schwach
Missionen repetitiv und stumpf mit unsinnigem Zeitlimit
wirkt gestreckt
🏆 Achievements

Viele erlangt man durch das Durchspielen
Viele erfordern Grinding
⚖️Fazit: „Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Thankfully I was able to get it off a bundle for a lot cheaper and even then it wasn't worth playing. I loved the anime... This game was ... painful.
I didn't get it on full price, but it would've been better if i didn't at all..
Is this a good game? Not really. Is this a fun game for fans of the show? I think so. This game isn’t groundbreaking, it’s nothing fancy, it doesn’t push any boundaries; Let’s make that clear. It’s also absolutely not worth the normal price at all. $39.99 for this game is ROBBERY. But as someone that paid $4 for it, I had a lot of fun with it. I’m a fan of the series, and thought I would give this a try after finishing up some of the show and light novels. This game covers the storyline from seasons 1 & 2. This is a simple dungeon crawler mixed with a visual novel. You level up, enhance your equipment and stats, tackle a dungeon, rinse and repeat. Somehow it manages to scratch my ADD brain’s itch with its loop, though. I will clear a dungeon several times and I actually keep enjoying it. The game is split into two character stories: Bell and Aiz. You will periodically swap between the two. Bell has 10 chapters and Aiz has 6. On the home screen, You can visit your familia, chat with characters, visit the market and enhance your weapons and armor or buy new stuff, etc. Then you tackle the “guild” quests such as fetch quests and practice quests to earn skill points and items. (Practice quests can be completed over and over for money, items, and skill points.) When you’re ready, you can hit the “story” button and continue the main storyline. Dungeons are simple and laid out in floors. You have a light attack, heavy attack, dodge, magic button, and support skills. It’s simply a hack and slash to the core. Like I said, the game is quite simple. The chibi graphics are cute and it runs on my potato laptop with no problems. Nothing special in the graphics department. Setting up a controller was super confusing, but I figured out that you have to visit the steam overlay and change from keyboard and mouse to gamepad. This solved my issue. Anyway, I can only recommend you get this game if it is under $10 and you are a big Danmachi fan. The loop is satisfying enough if you don’t mind the grind and if you’re a fan of the light novels and anime I think you will find some enjoyment here.
what am i doing with my life
one of the worst games i have ever played. i liked the light novel so i gave it a chance thinking "how bad can it be". but i was not prepared for this mess. - cluncky/bad combat. enemies in the endgame dungeons deal so much damage so you wanna kite them 1 by 1 to not take too much damage/none at all. which is not that hard to do but takes forever in a 10 level dungeon. - timed missions are no big deal - but WHY rush people through missions with a timer so they have to skip enemies if you make them grind skillpoints like creazy afterwards anyway to complete the skill board if they wanna 100% the game - bad menuing. selling all scrap loot at once? no. Selling all of 1 type? no - gotta add them 1 by 1 - keybinds on m/kb and controller are horrible to put it lightly. have fun placing everything so the game is even playable - extremely grindy for no reason besides inflating gametime. Endgame you have to do dungeons with 10 levels each to get to the only "new" part of the game compared to anime/ln's. and this takes FOREVER. its 14.000+ date points and i got between 120 and 1200 (i do not know how i once got that 1200 still) for finishing a long ass 10 floor dungeon. 1 slip up and you die in between? thats no loot at all for you. have fun grinding dozens of hours just to even see something noteworthy in the game. PLEASE just make you only need 1/10th of date/skill points or at least keep what you earned when you die mid dungeon. - saving issues with so many reported save losses when alt+f4ing the game / pressing X instead of closing through the menu. - lazy achievement badges. all the same in different coloring - "skillboard" is +- useless (besides def/hp maybe). max weapon damage? thats +nothing compared to what you get in the story anyways. exists purely to make you grind skill points and spend more time - pricing this at 40 euros non discounted is borderline insanity. + art is OK i guess, but that's only since its 1:1 what you are used to from the anime I was hyped due to the name. but what a letdown
waste of time and money cheap loveless animations + terrible fighting system + terrible keybinding the developers probably never watched the anime/manga i got it at 75% reduced price for 10 € to ask 40€ if its not on sale feel like a scam to me
