About
Dozens of hours of slow-paced suspenseful survival.
An unforgiving dystopian environment of the Pechorsk Anomaly Zone.
Diverse natural, industrial and urban locations with vast exploration potential.
Navigate with your realistic map, plan your route, climb over obstacles, scout out shelters, uncover loot caches, and try not to get killed.
Realistic handling of various classic and modern weapons.
Day and night cycle: scavenge for loot and scout during the day, sneak around and evade your enemies under cover of night.
Dangerous anomalies, bleak atmosphere, and urban exploration.
Explore miles and miles of forests, swamps, and crumbling industrial ruins. But be careful: the Radius is filled with deadly anomalies dealing damage to anyone foolish or daring enough to get close.
The place is swarming with hostile creatures — Fragments, Mimics, and more are roaming around 24/7 and will take every chance to let you know you are not welcome.

Into the Radius features a stunning variety of classic and modern firearms like the AKM Kalashnikov, PM, SKS Carbine, M9 Beretta, PPSh, FN SCAR, and many more with matching ammo. Realistic interaction, manual magazine loading with different ammo types, and weapon attachments.
Take care of your weapons — if they take damage or their condition deteriorates, they will begin to jam. Be sure to switch off the safety before you start firing! Realistic bullet physics causes ricochets, and bullets can penetrate different materials.
Your only means of survival is to sneak around with your detector, hunt for artifacts, and complete the missions assigned via the vintage UNPSC desktop at the base. Your trusty friends in the Radius Zone are stealth, silence, and planning.
Understand how to navigate the terrain, move slowly, take cover, crouch, sneak, and beware of the threats around you!

Still a great game even after ITR 2 went into early access. Has plenty of content and I still go back to the game because of its grim atmosphere and immersion. You can easily do three playthroughs of the game (Normal, Ironman with Mods, and 1.0) and still want to play more. The developers are extremely based for allowing you to play the 1.0 version of the game. 1.0 is basically a whole new game and the game is worth its price even when it is not on sale. ITR is a must play for not only people who enjoy Roadside Picnic and STALKER, but for all VR story game enjoyers.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is easily my favorite VR title. I'm on my 3rd play-through at the time of writing this and don't feel like there's much criticism to be had. It plays well on my original HTC vive, except throw mechanics for grenades, and the index controllers get rid of all of these issues. The enemies are challenging, but they don't feel unfair. the background story and the questlines are interesting. the map is easy to navigate while still being dangerous. and it has one of the best inventory systems for any VR title I've played. The Devs have really outdone themselves with this one. It feels like a complete game, rather than a "proof of concept" game like many VR exclusive titles do. Overall a great experience.
I shot things i saw, the world is scaring me... make it stop! The whispers... the dark things...

Scary as ♥♥♥♥
I have enjoyed my time in The Radius. The mystery of what has happened in this post apocalyptic and surreal world keeps me coming back for more. The shadowmonsters in the world gives me the creeps. The difficulty has a nice progression to it. My only negative is the way you get missions on a computer, and the somewhat lack of mission diversity, but I am still playing, and will be playing probably 50 hours more!
peak
I played this game with mainly with the STALKER mod meaning mimics are more frequent and everything is essentially random and man, even without the mods the gameplay loop along with (in my opinion) the fantastic as everytime you go out for a mission, its not just the mission but also the gathering and collecting of guns and ammo. The handling of guns is also just so good to play (turn on virtual stock btw). The immersion also helps, as it's quite a different feeling when you reach into your backpacks not to grab any stims or ammo, but for the pack of cigs, smoking them with a lighter that you grab in your side pouch. Also the range is the best range in any game hands down, im biased.
