Incredibly nostalgic, and genuinely challenging when you get to the 3rd and 4th tanks. For a game from 2006, this held up incredibly well!

If you're looking at this page you've probably played it 20 years ago or so. If not, you should know this game is quite old. I had some weird graphical glitches and limitations, though I am running this on Linux so that isn't entirely unexpected. Even though it's old, the game is still fun. Probably the best example of how fun games stay fun later.

honestly, i expected to like this game since i really enjoyed the prequel, but much to my dissapointment, it was terrible. it just feels like theyre dragging this franchise on too long and trying to add new things that no one really asked to be added. when you add "deluxe" to the title, can you atleast try to make it live up to its name? it didn't, atleast in my opinion, though seeing as this has majority positive reviews, maybe im not "getting it". but here is where i stopped to think. what is there to "get" about insaniquarium? ive been pondering this since i first played the original game, and to my shock, well, there is quite a lot. after my hours of playing on the mobile version, the rich story hidden behind a mundane and repetitive aquarium simulator came clear to me. you are not just finding pieces of the golden egg, no. you are finding pieces of yourself. fragments of the person who's soul once sat in you. you, a shell of what once was. and at this point in your life, you have already convinced yourself that you will never be the person you used to be. you will not grow or regress any longer because you have reached the end of your life. maybe you will become shorter and your hair will start to lose its color. and maybe the words you read will become blurry and the legs you walked with will become brittle. maybe all this change will happen but you still are not the one you once were. but why does it matter? your wrinkles tell stories for your children to listen to. so maybe being what took your spot a long time ago doesnt matter so much.
