refunded, needs to be optimized, using a 1070 tho it runs poorly compared to other games.. tho the concept is catchy will buy again if this gets a fix
Played on: 6600k OC @ 4.3 16 GB Ram GB GTX 1080 Vive A potato stuck up my arse and electrodes on my nipples. Graphically: Superb really polished and looks great, the opening sequence is one of the best in VR. Gameplay: Good, puzzles, action and a pretty good story. Needs a little work with the puzzles and items disappearing when trying to solve. The little robot companion looks great but can get annoying and the hint option if that what it is needs work. Up there in the top 30 percent of puzzle action games for VR. Locomotion: Let down, it's teleport to predetermined points and really could be done better. This game would shine with trackpad movement or even normal teleport. Voice acting: Very good for an Indie VR game Price: Great, this for ten dollars makes a lot of the ten to twenty dollar VR games look well over priced. Should I buy? If into puzzle action adventure games in VR with nice graphics and a story then definitely, even if just wanting a good VR game under ten dollars then definitely. A good game that could be better with loco options. Gameplay Video: https://youtu.be/-ULtQ4S-i_A
The game runs fine with i7 and 1070. Visually it is beautyful, everything thing else is... bad. The butterfly time is cool, but that beep is rough. There is the little helper bot, but if you don't look exactly at him the whole time you can bearly hear him. Also if you look away for too long he skipps all the dialog :( Would play again when game is more complete.
My PC Mainboard: ROG MAXIMUS X HERO (1003) CPU: I7 8700K 4,3Ghz --> 5,0 Ghz OV RAM: G.Skill 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz GPU: GTX1080 Gainward GTH --> +20% OV OS: Win10 64bit VR: Oculus with Oculus Home Beta and SteamVR Beta (SS: 2.0) I play the game without any problems with the Oculus Rift and think it's fantastic. Sound and immersion are great. But there are a few things that bother me. - No free movement, this should be in VR actually standart. - Slow motion has a disturbing painful beeping. - Eyes Robot is annoying after a short time. Again and again he fell in with commentaries while you want to enjoy the world or if you are in the middle of a puzzle. Were nice if you could disable this in the settings.
Punkte 5/10
Couldn't progress because I couldn't reach something outside of the play space. Locomotion would fix this. Also, very fuzzy resolution.
Oculus Rift // 1st Look & Impressions // GTX 1060 (6GB) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-t2QhSiKNA4 My Thoughts: BE WARNED You need a big play area to play this game. I got stuck on a puzzle, because the puzzle was under my Real-Life table making progress impossible. I hope the devs introduce options to prevent this from happening. And the game is teleport only. But issues aside, I found this to be a stunning action adventure full of wonder, mystery and puzzles. This is one of those games you go into not expecting much, but then it totally takes your breath away. The environments, atmosphere and effects are so good it makes you realise that a lot of time, effort and love has gone into making this title. The game has not been fully tested on the Oculus Rift and I did encounter a few minor issues but it works ok for the most part. With this being a Vive game using the advantage of FULL room scale, I struggled to complete some of the objectives. If you are into VR puzzle games with cool Sci-Fi environments and think you can get around the games current issues, then you'll probably enjoy this.
