Every night feels longer. Every sound feels closer. And all David can do is pray the footsteps don’t stop at his door.
Taguan comes from the Filipino word Tago, which means to hide. In English, it can translate to Hiding and is also the term used for the childhood game Hide and Seek.

Definitely an interesting horror game based from my country. I'm a little bit certain that most international players won't easily relate to the cultural references in this game, but I can definitely relate! I'm not an avid fan of 3D horror games, since I prefer watching other Youtubers play them instead, but I still enjoyed playing this one oddly enough. As a game developer myself, this game feels very polished so it's worth the price!
I am not always interested in horror games, but Taguan definitely checked all my boxes. The way Murushii tells the story through visuals, sound design, and dialogue is one of a kind and what really makes this game a masterpiece. You can tell the dev poured their heart and soul into this game with the intent of getting you to think critically about the social and political issues plaguing Philippine politics, as well as the ethical and moral dilemmas that one can face when dealing with these issues. The scare factor is not just in jump scares (though the jump scares were WILD), but in also how the game plays with your emotions and thought processes. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and highly recommend it!!
The nightmare part made me pee my shorts! The game is well made and I really enjoyed it!
I've played the demo, version 1 and now the steam version of Taguan, and honestly, this game just keep getting more disturbing in the best way! The demo already made me uncomfortable, but it felt like a warning. Version 1 stepped it up with heavier tension and clearer direction. Now in the Steam version, everything feels more polished, more intentional, and way more oppressive. The atmosphere hits harder, and the silence feels louder than ever. What really gets me is how relatable it feels. The setting, the routine, the quiet nights—it feels like real life, and that makes the fear sink in deeper. As a streamer, this is the kind of game where chat goes quiet because everyone’s locked in, waiting for something bad to happen. Each version shows how much the developer understands psychological horror. The Steam release feels like the most complete vision of Taguan so far, more refined, more confident, and way more unsettling. If you like horror games that mess with your head instead of throwing screams at you, Taguan is absolutely worth playing especially if you’ve followed it from the demo to now.
its Very amazing game 10/10
Taguan is a good horror game, by no means groundbreaking though. It had some great representation of how it would feel to live in a barangay with the struggles of the average Filipino. The issue is that it is really more a teaser. It sort of goes a little down hill at the end and loses its atmosphere a bit. Was not scary but the atmosphere was mostly there. A few issues I had with it was no save feature. The scares were very limited and mostly predicatable save for the ending which was a little bit of a surprise. Had a hunch we were going that way. Audio balancing was very off. Quiet to a point where I had to turn the volume way up and then get my ears destroyed as David decides to yell at the top of his lungs. The audio mix needs lots of improvement. Overall a 3/5. But because it had a heart than most horror games for the price I would say close to 4/5. Keep up the work =).
Great game, super creepy parts and a nice twist. The only things I didn't like - Eating sounds. I don't know why games include this. It's obnoxious and unnecessary. - The sleep paralysis segment. Super lazy horror that's overdone
