Basically Slime Rancher meets Satisfactory. Although it seems fairly early in development, it's quite enjoyable to play, and the price isn't half bad. Looking forward to all the updates they have in queue!
Why is this a positive review?-- Read to the end! TLDR - Thought game was bad, dev fixed right away and impressed a negative review into positive territory-- great customer support! I purchased this game exclusively for playing on VR- HTC VIVE. Initially it seemed fun- I was able to change the settings from teleport to smooth movement- yay for that. After fumbling with controls for about 5 minutes I figured out how to do some basic things. Some more fumbling and I found that you can set contracts to advance tech through the menu system-- odd but OK. Then I spent an hour wandering the woods collecting about 50 "cuddlers" to advance my tech. Figured out how to build-- and then figured out you can make the pets themselves-- great! No more searching the woods. Set up a harvester, on goo (raw material,) set up pipes, set up pet manufacturer - and nothing. Help menu says you can set the recipe for a manufacturer by left clicking it. Try every vive control under the sun. Try using in game tools- reconstruct, deconstruct, probe, prod, pet, and wrack my brain. Finally I throw in the towel and start checking the internet-- and everything is strangely silent. No vive playthroughs, only Rift. No vive help. Forums and discord seem to be desolate and abandoned. I only have so long in my return window, so it looks like I will have to refund / return the product before the devs or community responds. --Update, a few hours later-- Dev got back to me-- looks like some things broke in an update. Developer fixed it right away, was very responsive, and very polite. Review changed from negative to positive due to responsive dev rapidly fixing game breaking glitch and being very open to enhancing the VR experience. Also- if you can't figure it out, use the inspection tool to change what a factory is working on.
Satisfactory + Slime Rancher + some MDMA = Industrial Petting Not much content (yet) but I still get hours of play time out of it - a sign of a great logistics game. Lots of rough edges to smooth out but there's a very solid foundation here. Minimal bugs (thanks, dev(s)! I know firsthand how hard this can be to achieve) and solid gameplay so far. The art style is very cute - minimal but not amateur. It's bright, fun and kinda stupid - just the way I like 'em. I'll definitely be playing more in the future.
I really wanted to like this game, even recommended it to some of my friends after seeing the trailer and screenshots, but sadly I requested a refund because of several reasons: - The game will sometimes go from 300+ fps (if left uncapped) to 35 for absolutely no reason. I'm guessing this is yet another issue with Unity, which runs terribly no matter what game uses it. - The FOV is extremely low, giving me nausea, and cannot be adjusted. - The movement and placement of buildings is just clunky. The game is way too early in development to be enjoyable. I might revisit it at a later date, but I'm not so sure about that, since the core of the game is already well established and likely won't change much. I enjoyed Factorio and Satisfactory, as well as Slime Rancher. This game is basically a mix of those games, but sadly the result isn't very entertaining. I have to pass on that one. Hopefully it will be more to your liking.
The game is great and fun and I recommend it---for people without VR. I tried the VR version. After 45 minutes of fighting the controllers plus 15 nice minutes for a walk in the environment, I hit a real blocker. Switched to the PC version and went much farther in 10 minutes, and eventually spent smooth and enjoyable hours there. It's a good indie game! Just stay far away from the VR version. Maybe use it only to walk around what you already built on screen.
its fun and is pretty solid for an early access at least the first few hours. definitely EA a little clunky in the controls like esc doesnt back out of menus, little things like that, but I enjoyed the game. Interesting concept. I am excited to see where it goes. Played a lot of another factory type game recently and this is a nice change of pace, I really like that you have to figure out inventive ways of getting things automated. It is not quite as linear as the other game, pump in resources pump out product repeat, you have to think of a way to get little creatures with a mind of their own to go into a beam and get them into a machine, I like the randomness built in, it saved me from calculating numbers of how many of this machine to feed that machine which is fun sometimes but this is a nice escape. I would recommend. Don't spend your last 20 on it, but I can think of worse ways to blow 20 bucks.
I do not recommend buying but I want to support the dev and see where it goes.

É muito bom o game
I have gotten to the same point in the game twice, and have had machines falling into the map for no reason. Total waste of resources. When I first had this problem, three or four months ago, I posted a bug notice about it. The dev asked a few questions, but never specified whether anything would be done. Well, it hasn't. And my reply to that bug is the last post on the steam forum. As far as I'm concerned, this game is dead to me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!
