This game is everything I ever wanted for an Inazuma Eleven game. I remember being a kid playing on the Nintendo DS, wishing for a game to be like this. How happy am I with it. This game is just everything they ever invented for Inazuma in one game, Hissatsu techniques, Kenshins, Tactics... And when they announced this, I was wondering how they were even going to balance that, and we really have to congratulate them because it works very well. You get 3 main game modes, the Story Mode, the Chronicle Mode, and the Online Mode. For the Story Mode, we follow a character who plays at a post we never saw for a MC in an IE game and a new college, so it was a nice change. Even if I thought that sometimes the story was a bit long because you had to reach some requisites before moving on to the next chapter, it was worth it every time. The characters are nice, the game itself is beautiful, and the cutscenes are amazing, both 2D, made by MAPPA, or 3D made with the game engine, backed up with great JP voice acting, it really was amazing. The Chronicle Mode is a side story with no correlation with the Story Mode, where you will redo every single match of the entire franchise, all the way to Orion. Great if you want to have the big lines of the entire story without watching/reading or if you always wanted to re-see without having the time to do so, you can do it here. The Online mode, well, is an online mode. You'll play against real players and their teams. I can't really say much about it, I only played it when I needed my last achievements, so I already had my final team fully built, so I can't really talk about balance and all. It's fun, but it isn't my favorite thing to do in that kind of game. For the team building, you get to change your players, coach, managers, what items they equip, which techniques, Kenshins, passives... You could customize a player to make it play as GK even if it was a Midfielder. (I do not encourage you to do that, it's just to say that you can do whatever you want with your team and make it somehow work, and that's a really great thing, especially when we have so many characters present in the game!). The gameplay itself can be a little bit overwhelming if you have never played any IE game before, so I really advise new players to do the Story Mode first. Once you get the hang of every little mechanic, you'll have a lot of fun trying different teams. There is in this game some kind of gacha system to get the players, do not worry, no money is needed, this is a currency you win by playing in the different modes. From my experience, it wasn't hard to get the characters I wanted, and even if I couldn't get them in the gacha, you can still "craft" them. But this will be for later if you just started the game or if you're reading this before buying it. By the time I finished what I wanted to do in the game, completing the story, making my dream team, and completing every achievement, I reached 200 hours. It felt satisfying, I fell in love with this game, and I can only be full of hope for the future of the Inazuma Eleven game franchise.

they deleted my save file for no reason and couldn't get it back for me because I didn't link it with epic games(which is not mandatory). and the new difficulties are so stupid, lvl5's decision making is so bad it looks like they're trolling
overrated game it's not bad , but not worth the price
Wasted potential: the game. Story mode is good but too short and too damn easy. Everything else is so repetitive and not engaging.
썬더일레븐 개꿀잼 한글만 제발 나오면 좋겠다 ㅠ
It's a fun game and all. However, you play for 200 hours to get all the equipment, techniques, passives, and everything else, only for it to be completely insignificant. The defense in matches is terribly implemented with many bugs. The story is quite good, and many matches feel very enjoyable, but outside of the story, everything feels very unbalanced.
Okay so I have to sorta review this as three separate games almost. 1. Is a pretty fun light RPG about kids learning about the power of friendship It will take you like 25-30 hours. It's fun to recruit players and the story is pretty solid. With lots of customization involved. 2. Is the longest grind I have ever done in a game possibly ever? In a good way though. Chronicle mode covers the highlights of the 15 year plus series. It is filled with a few cliches. A lot of matches. Nearly an extra 150 hour story since you have to beat every match a minimum of 2 times. It's a solid intro to the series if you have the time. I wish they'd make the old games easier to access in the States. 3. Multiplayer is essentially all about minmaxing. You will be grinding more than you ever imagined. There is grinding for moves, players and passives. You will spend several hours just getting one character. Then you will have to reroll him and sacrifice 20 dudes to him for stats. Eventually you will have minmaxed a team. Only to realize someone with 100s of hours to spend on the game has made essentially a wall of flesh and several howitzers to defeat you with. Hopefully ranked will allow for some balance. As it stands online is kinda just scary now. So do I recommend the game? Absolutely its been a blast and I think there might still be some DLC planned. All of which was free. The game has Gatcha out the ass. Yet free gatcha so great for gambling addicts. I hope to see more from the series. I went in blind and now I fuggin love it.
