Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 19 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Great game that was unfortunately killed by a bad release. All the focus post-launch had to go into getting the game where it should have been on release. Sadly this means that flavor outside of a few nations is lacking, but this can be addressed with mods, some of which even allow ironman.
Très bon jeu, malgré toutes les critiques que j'ai pu entendre avant d'y jouer je constate que le jeu est particulièrement agréable et intéressant à jouer dans son état actuel. Je recommande.

Preparing for Imperator 2 (EU5)
8.5/10. I think it's one of the most underated Paradox's games that suffered due to devs' mistakes. At the release, Imperator clearly had potential but at the same time struggled with bugs and lack of content for factions other than Rome. Over the course of two years devs fixed these problems with patches and DLCs, but Paradox chose to abandon project, cut their loses and focus on the CK3 instead. It's a shame, because 2.0 update made the game fun to play. There is plenty of things to do, regardless of if you play as Rome, Carthage, Diadochi realms, Greek polis or Celtic tribes you will probably have fun building your own ancient empire. Finally, Imperator also has a caring community that still keeps the game alive and provide many mods that will improve and enhance your gaming expirience.
too addictive. not overly complex like HOI4 or Victoria, but not that simple neither. beside Stellaris, this is my favorite paradox game.
Left in a good state
i dont have an addiction to this, maybe. but not worth full price, buy when on sale and you wont sleep for days, at least i didnt, its very fun, it scratches my brain in the right ways
