The story of Pygmalion coupled with the legend of the Golems is very interesting adapted in this game. I felt like a protagonist of a fantasy action movie. A really good game to play on a nice quiet evening. PROS: - Beatufiful backgrounds; - Fitting music; - I like the Mercenary a lot (he has quite a personality); - Collectibles (that open a minigame); - Good voice-acting; - Fast-travelling map; - Main game + Bonus chapter; - In-game achievements; - Diverse mini and Hidden Object games. CONS: - No Journal; - No trading cards; - Some characters simply disappear (what happened to the Mercenary?). All in all, it's a fine game to play. I recommend it to anyone interested in the HOPA genre.
Nice artwork and animations, but the mechanics of the game could use a lot of work and the actions in the game were always quite limited. For example, there were a lot of instances in the game where if you didn't click in just the right spot to select or place an item, it wouldn't register as correct. And while I can appreciate they tried to make some hidden object puzzles that were a bit more unique, some of them could only be solved by random clicking. For instance, there was a puzzle where you had to match similar objects in the scene but it was only through random clicking on the scene that you could discover what objects were match options and what objects weren't. And even then, some of the matches were weird (like a lemon with a slice of chocolate cake...). And for most of the game, you could only do things in the one active scene. So there was very little moving around the world and finding things. Each scene had a few things for you to do, and often once you had done them you would never need that scene again. Also, so much of the story just doesn't make sense.
Like if the Order is trying to stop Caeser and bring the statues back to life, what's their problem with me? And if they desperately want the artefact back because it's dangerous, why do they keep leaving it with me even after capturing me (as I'm pretty sure they know I have it)? And it's just pretty damn convenient that the Order has been trying to stop Gloria all this time, but the magic killing gun and the rubies needed to arm it, are just sitting at the end of their dock. And how did Caeser get away with everything for so long? He wasn't exactly hiding with all his fame and fortune... So many questions.
Interesting story, good graphics and cool puzzles. Recommended.
A very fantastic game!
A nice run-of-the-mill HOG love story with pretty Italian Riviera style graphics and calming music. The story, although enjoyable, doesn't really stand out much and kinda blends in to the background of the other hundreds of love themed HOG games out there. Feeling romantic? Grab it on sale!
Really good game, fun plot, well-designed puzzles. Just a slight problem with registering placement later in the game, but nothing that breaks the game. Also a very cute additional chapter.
Bardzo ładna grafika i świetna melodia, polecam
This is not a bad game. Good graphics and story line. I recommend this game on sale.
Beautiful game.great story! Mini games were interesting.mostly easy to medium. HOPs were colorful and challenging. Achievements easy to gain. I wish Steam would bring the whole Immortal Love series! Have fun!
If you enjoy HOGs you will enjoy this game. You can make it challenging if you should choose but you can also just play a nice, casual, yet still brain warming hidden object puzzle game to relax. It has a pleasant story without being too convoluted and there's plenty of lore throughout if you're into that without being forced to find it to know what's going on. All around nice game
