About
The goal is simple, activate all souls in a level and escape. However every level revolves around wildly differing mechanics where you must first explore and figure out the level's purpose before then solving its abstract puzzles.
You may be tasked with manipulating physical structures or the realm itself to solve logic puzzles, or wander strange subliminal spaces, perhaps deal with phasms or briskly bound through the aether. Delve into 64 mysterious mind-bending levels that will test the limits of every facet of your cognitive faculties.

Very nice First-Person-Puzzler with great optics. A little bit of walking simulator, too. Some Puzzles are less intuitive, but overall it has been a great experience. Recommendable if you like games like Portal, Antichamber, Beginners Guide, Stanley Parable etc.
This game's greatest strength is also its weakness - each level is something different from the last. This results in wildly varying degrees of quality and difficulty between them, with some levels relying on a logic which is incomprehensible without a guide, while others can challenge in a way that is compelling. I'd recommend Ilamentia for those who really like puzzle games that experiment, and can get past the cryptic presentation/hint system.
Really weak puzzle game with awfully derp puzzles.
I knew I was going to love Ilamentia the moment I saw it's freakishly weird art style, but never did I expect to love it as much as I do now. The puzzles are all widely different, each weirder and more cryptic than the last. There are a few which requires you to think outside the box more than I've ever seen any video game do. I'd write more about it, but the whole experience has been just so surreal and otherworldly, that it's impossible to put it into words. I recommend Ilamentia to anyone whom the surreal and random nature of the game appeals to.
Being on drugs while creating a game isn't the best way to go. This one is confusing and trippy, but mostly confusing.
Feels a bit like being a contestant in a variety gameshow, but without the pressure of competition and an audience. The gameplay is methodical and satisfying. Some of the more actiony levels can be pretty exciting towards the end. The puzzles seem mostly fair. If you don't like a level, you can just save it for later.

Very cool puzzle game
The categorical attestation that uniqueness is not equivalent to worthiness. This tawdry experience presents a host of puzzles that range from ordinary to awful, trying patience and persistence whilst the visuals do their utmost to give the player a seizure. Seriously, the amount of flashing and flickering in this game is insane, it's not appealing at all. I commend anyone who completed this, of which I myself number amongst, not that finishing it is rewarding in any way - in actual fact it's a total waste of time.
