Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Mixed review. The game is worth it...but only On Sale... I have thousands of hours on Il-2 Forgotten Battle/1946. So much fun. Just bought and noticed a few things. This is basically the same game. Upgraded somewhat. The good: -It runs smoothly on my R-7, RTX2080S, 48gbRam machine from the HDD. But it feels like it slows down sometimes despite 50fps+ being displayed. -Many elements have had visual improvements. The aircraft looks fantastic. Some basic rain effects added. The clouds a little better. -Overall gameplay is about the same as 1946 with all the quirks. (Too be honest I haven't tried the advanced mode yet) The bad: -The pricing model with all the DLC is a bit 'ambitious' to say the least. Especially for what you get. -The flight model still needs major work: a). Nose down, full throttle, and I don't accelerate. b). Roll right, full left rudder, nose up, cut throttle and I'm still doing 300mph for a while. -AI voices are missing a huge potential for immersion.. IE: "Today's flight is patrol. Enemy might be coming from X airfield to the east. We are covering 5th Battalion at the city of X" "#3 you are far out of formation, return when able" "Tighten up a bit more on my right" "Climbing to angels 7" "Second group is now in engagement past AO" "Four fighters above" "Pulling right and diving" "Ok sir you are rearmed and ready for takeoff" -The grass airfields are still perfectly square. Ground crew and airfield elements still basic. -The terrain looks plain and patchwork dull. Trees are all the same. Missing caravans of refugees carts and horses. Historic buildings or rivers that stick out and serve as visual markers. etc. -The moving map cant be zoomed. And there are two of them. Neither are helpful. Why not a 'paper' map with general area and direction circled?
Un super simulateur ! Pas trop gourmand en ressources graphiques (moins que DCS), très joli et assez varié dans les missions et carrières. Il manque juste un trafic radio autour des aérodromes et des communications entres ailiers plus précises.
This game is pretty good, but there is no pacific theater, no B-17, no B-24, no Finland and really nothing from 1946 at all, so if the dev's would PLEAES bring back all of the good thing from 1946 back into this game I would be so happy and I'm sure that other fans of this game would also be delighted with the fact that there would be more to this game and more planes. so thats all really thanks for manking a good game.
Зашел в игру, посидел в управлении попытался что либо настроить, ввожу клавишу нужную мне, нажимаю принять а ему поебать вообще, управление в самолете по удобности нулевое, а так же нету обучения ♥♥♥♥♥
this game is stupid you need to pay for everything and its not even close at all to realistic
Легендарный авиасимулятор
I'd like to emphasize that you don't need to spend 1,000 hours playing any game to understand its content and comment solely on that (the more hours I play, the more I have to say). IL-2 Sturmovik is one of those games that demonstrates how few true flight simulators there are. Next to my beloved DCS World, it's a true rarity. There simply aren't many games like it. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the game itself and its DLC. And yes, I understand that. But I 100% agree with something I once read: Don't judge a simulator by its business model – judge it for what it truly is. DLC add-ons? Sure – they can be expensive – but there are also promotions! You don't pay for all the actual content: planes, maps, campaigns – it wasn't created at once. Because as a simulator, IL-2 Sturmovik offers something many of you don't see. Each module feels different. The controls, the power, the responsiveness – it's not just a change in appearance, it truly changes the way you fly. Although flights can be long. Sometimes really long. And yes, it can be boring. The developers are accommodating us by artificially accelerating time in the simulator. There's something for everyone. Sitting in the cockpit, flying for dozens of minutes, managing the plane – it's all part of the experience. As a real pilot, you wouldn't have any control over that. If you want constant action every 30 seconds, there are other games that provide that. Arma 3 or DICE titles are good examples. Great games with truly talented pilots – but they are NOT flight simulators. The flight models are simplified, and you can feel it compared to the IL-2 Sturmovik. Now imagine playing on the easiest mode – yes, that's also possible, but it's a departure from the original. One more thing – start making games yourself, spend countless hours working on the project, hoping it will work. But what if it doesn't? What if you have a family and a house to support, and the income from sales is your only income? Many people writing projects have to work multiple jobs. If you think complaining is the best way to help the developers, then help them by finding a job on the team and dedicate yourself to creating the perfect game! It seems easy. You don't even have to leave your chair, and you can continue drinking warm coffee regardless of the weather. That's the point. And here's the real question: What happens if the creators of such games just say "♥♥♥♥ it, it's over"? Because let's be honest – there are only a handful of simulators like this. If the community criticizes them for everything, at some point it might simply become unprofitable. And then we'll be left with nothing. I'd rather have a simulator with paid DLC and have peace of mind that the studio won't leave me with the equipment I invested months of work into than not have it at all. If you're interested in aviation, history, and want something deeper than arcade gameplay, this game is absolutely worth the price. If, on the other hand, you want everything for free, learn to live again because you must have missed something.
关于游戏闪退问题,我的是因为游戏摇杆pxn2113的软件和游戏冲突,在电脑设置程序和功能里面把pxn2113的软件卸载了,就能进游戏里了
I played this game back in the day and found this version ( an update if you like ) is like, wow, what an improvement. It's up there with another game like DCS world, ( if i'm allowed to reference another game ) I use a hotas and works well. Very happy there are options to tone it down so as its not too hard to fly without stalling an stuff. Graphics are pretty good. defiantly recommend this game
