Meh
It's a fairly simple and straight forward idler that gets a little more complicated as you progress, but remains relatively simple throughout. You level up, earn gear, prestige to transfer the stats from your gear to your character to carry over, rinse and repeat. Originally I had this as would not recommend as there are some clunky systems that make it seem overly harsh in the early stages (growing hunt and prestige requirements, gem costs that don't scale with actual gem power, etc). Once you learn to just ignore those and push power, make sure you're ascending with full boss/expedition gear, etc, you can get to a point where the prestiges aren't walled behind growing costs (Using the secondary hunt currency). Seems daunting at first but evolves into a relatively smooth progression system. It could use more variety maybe in the form of incredibly rare world drops or something that you see once in a blue moon (or special ultra rare non-target farmable gems). The new ascension system sort of helped with this variety, but it, in itself is still very linear and sort of just comes naturally over time passively. Curious to see how things evolve.
my first save got reset after 60 hours, with 2.2.0 the developer added more safety measures so this does not happen again. progressing seems to be faster now with the new companion.
Just amazing
Few hours in. Few more to go
Eu gostei do jogo. Uma sugestão: - Fazer um pity system para os itens mais complicados de obter, por exemplo, o item slimey sword no boss King of Slimes.
Finally hit a hard wall... pure grind after that. Fun for a few days. Needs updates before I get back into it to change the current systems.
Honest Opinion
I've been playing this game since it was posted on Itch.io, so I believe my opinion is well-founded, especially considering I have over 380 hours invested in it.
Short Info
If you are considering buying this game, I can recommend it with a clear conscience. The amount of changes, new content, QoL updates, and new mechanics is simply crazy. Additionally, the Devs ACTUALLY care about game improvements; all suggestions on Discord are checked and replied to (a couple of mine have been reviewed, approved, and actually introduced!).
What to Expect:
- This game will take a LOT of your time. It's not strictly an "Idle" game; it's rather a mix of Idle and Clicker (like 90% of games with the "idle" tag), but personally, I take no issue with that. - You're not treated like a 5-year-old, so forget about easy mode. It requires you to get familiar with the game mechanics (which are not that hard). That said, with the latest updates, the game has become more accessible for newcomers. - Consequences! The way you strategize your hero's progression (choosing between a more active Click build or an AFK DPS build) has a huge impact on how easy (relatively) it will be for you to reach prestige. Feel free to visit the Discord to ask for help and tips. - Prestige system - "Oh boy", this is a huge topic, but to keep it brief: depending on when you do it and what equipment you have, it will be easier or harder after you "reset the loop".
Prestiging too early with bad Equipment can stunt your progress or even brick your game to some degree, but again - with the latest 2.1 update, it's relatively hard to mess up that badly.
- Non-linear progression. You can't just focus on one build and quickly finish all the content. Many power systems require you to dip into various mechanics to progress further. - Slow but rewarding progress! If you need to instantly finish the game in 0.0023sec, it's not for you. The game rewards patience, building strength, considering different benefits, and gathering power before prestige, which will be partially transferred to your "new hero".
Who should buy it
- You don't mind slow but rewarding gameplay (across many days/weeks)? You'll be happy with it! - Stacking power over many loops (prestiges) is your thing? Oh, you will not be disappointed. - Min-Maxing is what you love? There's plenty of it here. - You like collecting achievements? There are almost 100 as of now to motivate you to push through. - Do you hate microtransactions? They are non-existent here, unlike in some other "idle" games on Steam.
Who Should NOT buy it
- You want something that rewards you just for opening the game window and plays itself? Forget it, it's not for you. - Paying to progress faster is your thing? Then this game will be hell for you. - You have no time or prefer fast progress? You'll likely end up frustrated.
Last words & Personal opinion
I am having a blast with this game; it offers exactly what I was looking for in an Idle game. It's true that it requires some basic knowledge of the genre (both idle and clicker) and isn't the easiest title out there, but it feels super satisfying to reach certain points in the game, and the power leaps feel very rewarding. For the current price, I don't think there are many contenders. It's just worth it.
Slightly addicting, but so much fun!
A fun Idle looting game with unique prestige system. Game is constantly being updated, devs are super nice guys who actually listens to players feedback on discord. Can definetly recommend
