D-D-Did you see the frightened ones D-D-Did you hear the falling bombs Goodbye Blue sky
its so fun to nuke people u dont like, its basically racism in disguise:)
Good but once someone fires a nuke the AI goes ballistic (literally) and total world destruction occurs
This game lets you nuke Turkey.
ICBM is a real-time strategy game developed by SoftWarWare and K-Project and published by Slitherine Ltd. It takes the familiar foundations of strategy games and shifts the focus away from commanding massive armies on conventional battlefields, instead placing players in charge of an entire nuclear superpower. Every decision revolves around technological superiority, military preparedness, and the ever-present threat of mutually assured destruction. The result is a tense and highly strategic experience where a single mistake can erase decades of careful planning within minutes. The game's greatest strength lies in how it transforms global nuclear warfare into an engaging strategic contest. Rather than relying on constant combat, players spend much of each match expanding their infrastructure, researching new technologies, and preparing for the inevitable conflict. Scientific advancement unlocks increasingly sophisticated missile systems, stealth bombers, submarines, satellites, orbital weapons, and defensive installations. Deciding whether to prioritize offensive capabilities, strengthen homeland defenses, or accelerate research creates meaningful strategic diversity, ensuring that no two matches develop exactly the same way. Military operations extend well beyond launching nuclear missiles. ICBM encourages players to combine different branches of their armed forces into coordinated attacks designed to overwhelm enemy defenses. Strategic bombers, submarine-launched missiles, naval fleets, reconnaissance satellites, and anti-ballistic missile systems all play vital roles in achieving victory. Successful commanders must constantly gather intelligence on rival nations, anticipate incoming attacks, and carefully time their own offensives to maximize destruction while limiting retaliation. Every engagement becomes a contest of prediction and resource management as much as raw military power. Population and infrastructure management provide additional depth by tying civilian survival directly to national strength. Cities generate the economic resources required to sustain technological progress and military expansion, making them valuable assets that must be protected at all costs. Defensive networks capable of intercepting incoming missiles become just as important as offensive weapons, reinforcing the game's central theme that survival often depends on preparation rather than aggression. This balance between destruction and preservation adds a layer of realism that distinguishes ICBM from many other real-time strategy titles. Multiplayer is unquestionably where the game truly shines. Competitive matches create an atmosphere of constant uncertainty as players negotiate temporary alliances, monitor enemy movements, and decide whether cooperation or betrayal offers the greatest chance of survival. Trust is always fragile when nuclear arsenals are involved, and diplomatic agreements can collapse in an instant. The tension steadily escalates as each nation completes new research projects and expands its arsenal, culminating in spectacular global conflicts where multiple continents are engulfed by missile exchanges. The unpredictable nature of human opponents gives the game exceptional replay value, with every match presenting new strategic challenges. Visually, ICBM adopts a clean and functional presentation that emphasizes readability over elaborate graphical effects. The strategic world map clearly displays cities, military installations, missile trajectories, and defensive systems, allowing players to process critical information quickly even during the most chaotic moments. Explosions and nuclear detonations deliver satisfying visual impact without sacrificing clarity, while the sound design effectively heightens the suspense through warning alarms, missile launches, and dramatic music that reflects the escalating scale of the conflict. The game is not without shortcomings. Newcomers may find the mechanics intimidating due to the numerous research paths, military systems, and strategic concepts that must be understood before achieving consistent success. Veterans often possess a considerable advantage in multiplayer because they understand optimal build orders and technology priorities. Additionally, players seeking an extensive single-player campaign or detailed political simulation may find the available solo content and economic management somewhat streamlined compared to more traditional grand strategy games. Despite these limitations, ICBM succeeds in delivering a unique and memorable strategy experience. It captures the tension of global nuclear brinkmanship through intelligent mechanics that reward planning, adaptability, and careful resource allocation rather than simple military superiority. Every match becomes a dramatic contest of technological progress, psychological warfare, and calculated risk, with the possibility of total annihilation always looming in the background. Its focused design, strong multiplayer gameplay, and distinctive subject matter help it stand apart within the strategy genre, making it an easy recommendation for players who enjoy high-stakes decision-making and competitive real-time strategy. Rating: 9/10
It's not entirely clear how to win. If I go heavy on defense and save most of the population, I will get a very low score. If I go all in on the attack and hardly defend, with 60% dead - I get better score! That doesn't make any sense...
прохорнуто, тридцатисемерил с матвеем, было автобусно 37
very good game worth every last cent of the 20 dollars if u like rushing and chaos super fast this is not for you but if u like games like DEFCON,RISK and other strategy games this is for you
