Dead Effect 2 — это тот редкий случай, когда мобильный проект не просто перерастает себя, а выдает фору многим консольным "собратьям". Это настоящая космическая опера в стиле "Doom" и "Mass Effect" под одной обложкой. Игра затягивает с первой минуты: мрачная атмосфера звездолета-призрака, пугающая своей детализацией, пугающе умные враги и невероятно плавная стрельба. Но главное здесь — это вариативность. Ты не просто бездумно расстреливаешь орды зомби; ты выбираешь класс (тяжеловесный солдат, ловкий разбойник или техномаг-кибернетик), прокачиваешь уникальные способности и собираешь оружейный арсенал, который превращает тебя в машину смерти. Этот проект доказывает: на смартфоне может быть хардкорный шутер с полноценной историей, кибернетическими имплантами и графикой, которая заставляет забыть о времени. Если вы скучаете по старым добрым временам, когда в шутере ценились динамика и стиль, а не только коробки с лутом — Dead Effect 2 станет вашей страстью на сотни часов.»

If you have played the first Dead Effect game, you roughly know what to expect. This is basically a budget zombie/mutant FPS which plays on a space ship. However Dead Effect 2 tries to expands on the last game and adds bunch of content and game element, which makes it better than the last game, however this is still not that enjoyable. Dead Effect 2 is pretty lengthy, thanks to the bunch of missions in the story which gets harder after each one you complete. You need to get better weapons, equipments, new skills and even implants and upgrade all of these in order to beat the game. You can collect money and items from missions, and there are bunch of game modes to play in order to get stronger and you can also complete side missions for more rewards. There is also a multiplayer coop and versus mode in the game, which seems to be somewhat active nowadays. But even though there is a bunch of content in the game, it's really boring. Every mission plays roughly the same, every area looks the same, you always fight those 8 - 10 different enemies which just levels with you, story is not interesting and dialouges are soulless. The side content gets repetitive very fast, however you are somewhat force to play them, otherwise you can't continue the main story due to being under leveled. Graphics did not aged well and it looks plastic like. The sounds are not mixed properly, as I can't differentiate a sound which sounds close to me for something which sounds further from me on the same side, both sounds the same. Also once you figure out to play with melee weapons and use guns for the more difficult but rare enemies, you can mostly get past through the game if you have the patience to do the grinding for more levels and additional equipments. Finally, in order to finish the story you need to own the Escape from the ESS Meridian DLC, which contains 10 more missions. I really don't understand why the devs didn't added these to the base game. If you are just curious how the Dead Effect series continues, I guess you can give a try with Dead Effect 2, but otherwise I can't recommend this game at all. If you are fine with the repetitive gameplay which gets boring and grindy pretty fast, you can try to get it for less than 3€, but otherwise you should skip this one.

Интересно было следить за продолжением истории. добавлено куча оружий, брони и имплантов, усилений и т.д. но после прохождения всей цепочки истории дополнительно делать задания пойти настрелять столько то, а по факту или время выждать или пережить волны врагов скушна(субъективно)а так очень даже ничего, вполне интересней чем первая часть
