Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

8/10. A colourful JRPG with quasi-movement turn-based combat that's fun to play. However, lack of enemy- and level-design are all too apparent, the power of most characters pale in comparison to the big 4, and the story is kinda just there. Overall, a fun game with a satisfying but fairly long grind. Only buy DLC if you enjoy the grind, which I do, as the DLC is pretty much a grind + new characters. The story follows Neptune, one of the Goddesses of Gamindustri, and her journey on moving away from the constant fighting in the Console Wars. You meet a plethora of characters from beginning to end to post-game, but unfortunately most of them don't get much screen-time. Other than the Goddesses + IF + Compa + 1 side character, most characters only get a gimmicky entrance and few lines throughout the game. To add insult to injury, these characters are power-crept like crazy outside of DLC, so even if you like them you can't use them for tough fights which is a shame. The story itself is very meh, never awful, never amazing, full of plot-holes. Enemy- and level-design is literally copy-pasted too, a simple recolouring between a blue dogoo and a metal dogoo wouldn't hurt. One of the best parts of this game is the combat. Typical turn-based JRPG combat is made to feel a bit more in-depth with movement during turns, big combos, and powerful EXE attacks, although a part of me hopes movement and environments could be explored more in future titles. Regardless, it's fun. The grind is quite long in this game, maybe too much so between the first few and last bosses, but the combat and super-upbeat atmosphere made it enjoyable throughout. Customisation is excellent in this game, every character appears to have 50+ accessories, I wish I could get them all if I wasn't grinding for the 100 million credits achievement :P

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you are looking for dumb fun RPG without caring about plot, enemies that share no similar artstyle, and stages that are repeated around 4 times each across the entire game. HyperDimension is for you, this game is just a parody. It will throw every possible cliché and joke known to man just to be "haha funny". It is proud in its randomness and dumb jokes, enemies and plot. It honestly feels like the type of game you would see made in RPG Maker by a group of friends having a laugh but made into a full 3D game. The battle system is fine but has 0 reason to ever use any character that isn't the main CPU's and the Dev/Publisher characters are really unnecesary and feel more like something they were forced to add, at least If and Compa play with their companies names but having "Marvelous" and "CyberConnect2" as their names instead of a nickname is just cringeworthy
Its pretty good when you mod yourself to one shot everything and not choose to take the horrendous grind path.
I can't recommend to this everyone but I'm gonna miss my lil gremlins. That said if you have a way to play the PS3 original (it emulates pretty well) I suggest doing so first, as this is not the original story and changes things *dramatically.* I prefer the original story, but the gameplay here is a lot better and I still had fun spending time with the sega gremlin squad
