Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 16.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I can't tolerate the truly abysmal army movement and army engagement mechanics of this game. Worst out of any 4x game I've ever played. The fact a random neutral rebel unit can attack my army at the start of my turn, and all the armies in range of the attack that was initiated by the random 1 stack enemy army will be forced to go into combat, and are then unable to move or do anything anymore because they've been in combat is truly god awful. You should be able to choose if you want to reinforce or not, and army movement should never be blocked after combat has happened. The limit of 1 attack per turn is questionable as well, but that would be fine if not for the other garbage. Unfortunately these things will never be changed, so I cannot recommend this game to anyone. It's a waste of time to play for that reason alone. Just compare the way stack based combat and engagement works in other similar games with this one. Like Age of Wonders 4. What a world of difference.

It's like if Civ hadn't jumped off the deep end and swam around in the Pool of Monetization and supped from Cup of Regression. Had a rough start and can be a bit of a handful to learn, even with previous 4Xperience, but rustles my jimmies in all the right ways. Just wondering how they'll top this in Endless Humankind III: Celts vs Vodyani.
My favorite 4X strategy game. Civ just isn't as fun after having played Humankind.
I have had this game in my library for years and I finally tried it out in 2026. I really really like it even though it has some issues, I ended up liking the civ switching and territory management. If you like Civilization or other amplitude games, give it a try.
Lots of content locked behind DLC, game can be frequent to crash the odd time towards endgame but it still happens. Can get so bored cause half the time you are clicking the turn meter. AI nations make such unlogical decisions it can drive you crazy. The game has taken up enough of my time for it all to not be worth it. Dont buy this game unless you want to find out that youd rather sit in reactor building 4 of chernobyl and use a graphite tipped control rod from an RMBK reactor as a pocket ♥♥♥♥♥ until your ♥♥♥♥ begins to blister from radiation and decay
Better than people expect. The First Era Cultures can become a bit too familiar though. Also I recommend the 14 era stars mod on standard speed for the most consistent game.
