HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world sandbox survival game set in a world ended by a zombie outbreak. Survive alone or with friends by scavenging, crafting, building, and fighting to last as long as ‘humanly’ possible. You can’t change the past, but you can fight for the future of humanity.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 22 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A zombie outbreak wiped out civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks gnawed their way to the top, becoming the world’s apex predator. Regular humans are now an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this new, unforgiving world.
Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world, sandbox survival game, where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs - at the top of the food chain.
Will you gamble on cities and scavenge loot, knowing hordes of zeeks might be around the corner? Or do you try to survive off the land in the country, through hunting, fishing, and farming?

A vast, cruel world stretches from untamed wilderness to dense urban cities, with each location offering resources and risk. Exploration is rarely safe and never predictable as you face infected wildlife, zeek hordes, and hostile survivors roaming the landscape. Drivable vehicles become essential tools for survival, allowing you to cross dangerous territory, haul supplies, carry companions, and push farther into hostile environments. Will you find aid and trade at survivor camps, or violent confrontation as you take over enemy bandit bases?
If the infected and other survivors aren’t enough, hunger, exposure, and a dynamic weather system constantly threaten your chances of making it through another day. For those willing to keep moving forward when others stop, the path leads to The Island, and the truth behind the outbreak and its terrors left undiscovered.
Pick through the ruins of the old world and scavenge resources to survive, or retreat to the hills to avoid the shambling remnants of humanity. Set up a farm, forage, hunt wildlife, or fish to sustain yourself. Each choice can mean the difference between lasting another day or becoming part of the ruins.
Survive your way. Play solo, cooperatively, or online in PvE and PvP modes with dedicated servers and proximity voice chat. Whether you face the apocalypse alone or with friends watching your back, the choice is yours. In a desolate world, even solo survivors learn quickly that befriending a dog or horse companion can mean the difference between life and death.
Design your chosen survivor with professions, afflictions, and a skill-tree system. Then outfit your survivor with a plethora of weaponry and gear that shape how you endure the apocalypse.
Use an extensive crafting and building system to create what you need to survive, from gear and consumables to vehicles. Craft and customize weapons with attachments and modifications to survive relentless threats and hunt game. Upgrade vehicles with armor, weapons, and storage capacity to adapt to the risks ahead.
Then construct a safe house, fortify your base against threats using defensive structures like electrified fences and concrete barricades, or reclaim a burned-out house as a new place to live.
Not all zeeks are slow and stupid. Adapt and improvise against numerous zeek variants, or you'll risk becoming zombie fodder. Customize your game sessions using extensive game-altering settings, or push yourself further by enabling Permadeath Mode if you dare.
Sums Steam only; Epic publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
It is a promising game but at this time I do not recommend it. It plays more like a buggy somewhat unfinished early access title. The most severe bug I encountered consistently is save games glitching, causing me to lose my character and start as a different character with different gear, all the way on the other side of the map, and with no ability to get my previous saved game back. Because of this, I do not recommend it. Maybe in 6-12 months the devs will have optimized the game to be less buggy. For now, stay away.
There is a developer/moderator (Derek, The Derektor) that has been banning people left and right simply because they gave constructive criticism about the game on Discord. They will completely revoke your access to the entire game (even offline modes), just for voicing an opinion they disagree with. DO NOT PURCHASE. Get Project Zomboid instead. Its better anyway

Insecure, power-tripping dev who hates his community and bans people who disagree with him, just to make himself feel like a big man. I come back to enjoy some Temu Project Zomboid and see all this going on? People banned from forums and discussions, from Discord, even from the entire game itself. Pathetic. DO NOT BUY.
The state of this game is pretty bad. Starting spawns are not well done. Lag. Crashes. There is a ridiculous amount of jank in the game. Aiming is odd. Whenever it auto saves, the game locks up for a few seconds. I have yet to discover a clean way of getting rid of unused backpacks. It's cool being able to destroy a shelf or table, but I can't destroy everything on the shelf or table, so some things are just hanging in mid air. I'm really not sure what the incentive to play this game over State of Decay 2 is. If you can get it on sale, check it out. If the game keeps getting updates it might become decent, but it just has too many problems and feels directionless.

HumanitZ is a fun survival game, especially when playing PvE. Exploring, gathering resources, building you base, and surviving agianst the environment can be a lot of fun. The Pve experience is probably my favorite part of the game and can keep you coming back for more. Unfortunately, the PvP side has been a much more frustrating experience. Running into players who appear to be cheating or exploiting glitches, especially players glitching into bases, can really ruin the experience. Spending time building a fortress and protecting a base only to have someone bypass the defenses through an exploit takes away a lot of the fun and motivation to play PvP. Pros: -Fun and enjoyable Pve gameplay -Exploring and building are rewarding -Good survival experience Cons: -Pvp can be frustrating -Cheaters/exploiters can ruin the game -Players glitching into bases is a major issue Overall, I enjoyed Humanitz and think the Pve experience is a lot of fun. However, Pvp needs stronger anti'cheat measures and better protection against exploits. If those issues are addressed, the game could be much better experience for Pvp players.
