Homefront®: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

¿Qué necesidad había de hacer un mundo abierto? ¿Que necesidad había de hacerlo tan sumamente aburrido?
I liked the original Homefront, was expecting good things from this game and usually I only care about mechanics and little about the story. The original game had a story I liked, but in this game I barely experienced mechanics before I got overwhelmed how stupid everyone is. Why US fell? Because they were too stupid to do strategic thinking 101. Why is revolution going slow before we join? Because they think that 4 people cell is large enough and them working on revolution stuff on open windowed first floor with guns plainly visible from outside is an ok thing to do. Why will NK will lose eventually? Because beside all this they couldn't teach their grunts basic tactics or that then you want to stop all movement in one street, you need to focus on those walking and obviously trying to evade you instead on those who are just standing there doing nothing.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Гра чудова, проходив 2 роки назад з усіма DLC. Локації й атмосфера чудові. По суті це FarCry з гаджетами. Сюжет нормальный, персонажі цікаві. Не розумію хейту до гри.
So many unnecessary system created, but shooting and moving wasn't perfected enough...
Hilft alles nichts. Schade :c
Homefront: The Revolution is a step up from the disappointment that was the first game. The open world is decent to explore, plus it allows different approaches to mission objectives (stealth, guerrilla tactics, head-on), making the game less linear. There's weapon customization and crafting, which added some variety to your arsenal. The main gameplay loop (zone liberation) is decent enough and makes you feel like a resistance fighter, and clearing districts is pretty satisfying even though it gets repetitive fast. The story is still pretty generic, and the characters are almost inexistent (I vaguely remember some NPCs but not their names or personalities, and they are very cliché). The gunplay is reasonably good; the guns feel impactful, but the AI is not very bright, and most fights are settled fast. The game's lengthier than the predecessor; it took me about 40-50 hours to beat, but I did waste a lot of time exploring and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around; I think it could be finished in around 20 hours or so, depending on how much you rush through things. Also, at launch the game was almost unplayable, riddled with bugs, framerate dips, and freezes, but fortunately they fixed the issues since, and now it's a pretty okay experience. Overall, it's a mixed bag, but I had more fun than with the first one, and at a deep discount, it can be entertaining for a couple of hours.
the only reason to get this game is for the pc port of timesplitters but despite that the dystopian vibe is great and i cant say it terrible but if you bought this for timesplitters try the campaign 6/10

I don't recommend **Homefront®: The Revolution**. The biggest issue is the terrible optimization. Even with high-end hardware, I experience massive FPS drops. Most of the time I get around **200–300 FPS**, but as soon as I enter an area with fire, smoke, explosions, or a lot of NPCs, my FPS instantly drops to **60–90 FPS** and often stays there, making the gameplay feel inconsistent and frustrating. Another disappointment is the graphics. The game looks much better in trailers and gameplay videos than it actually does. Once you start playing, the textures, lighting, and overall visual quality feel outdated and don't match the expectations set by the promotional content. I bought the game for only **€2**, so it's not a huge financial loss, but it's still disappointing that a game released in **2016** performs this poorly in **2026**. It feels like the game was never properly optimized, and despite having some interesting ideas, the technical issues make it hard to enjoy. Overall, I can't recommend it unless you're getting it extremely cheap and don't mind performance problems. There are many better open-world shooters available today that offer a much smoother and more polished experience.
