Great idea, very bad execution. The idea of finding items in real paintings is nice, but that's about it. The image quality is bad to very bad. No definition, low resolution, noisy, blurry, hard to see details. The screenshots on Steam are edited. Items are randomly placed, but are often unrecognizable. Sometimes parts are missing, even thought they should be there, so that it is impossible to find them. Items names are bad. A balloon can be a toy balloon or a hot air balloon, while both are in the same scene. A bow can be the one to shoot arrows or the ribbon in a womans hair. I've seen words that don't exist in English dictionaries. What I don't like is that the scenes are still full of junk when you finish it and then it tells you that this should be some old art. The scene where you have to find differences in the same picture like in the screenshot here on Steam seems to be missing from the game. I finished it and it never came up. There is also no obvious way to play this from the menu. Misleading. The extra content where you buy items for your home makes zero sense and the story can be completely ignored. They should've invested more time in the actual game. In the first game it didn't show the hint for the last item and I couldn't find it, and later the game crashed. The second play I wanted to exit the game, but the menu doesn't react to clicks on Exit or Continue. Alt-F4 made the game ask to me to quit and then it did after a long wait. Thankfully it saved.

"Have a look at those paintings and "restore them" as those bad people stole it and added banana peels and other French Flag in every corners of those. Also please, don't take everything, yes that one warrior is wearing a gaz mask and a lifejacket but who cares ? You were only paid to find 20 objects added in that pictures, not all of them. *shrugs*
The idea is great .... the implementation leaves much to be desired. And the pictures should be higher quality; some of the hidden objects were impossible to see and not in a fun way. And there were bugs ... sometimes I couldn't exit (killing it in task manager worked OK). Wish there was a meh button. As it is, it gets a down vote.
YES!!! FINALLY!!! I saw this game a few years ago and I remember I wanted to play it very badly... but those were different times. When I saw it once again, I was excited and had to have it! The game came in a bundle and I finally, finally got to check it out! There is something about dealing with historic artworks that makes it so much more interesting. You find items that are listed to the side and then bonus items pop up for you to get. There are "shadows" if you hover over items, BUT not for bonus items! There are hints too, but if you want first place: Find everything by yourself. (Btw, the video and first image of this game (up above) is from the First game... which I really want to play too... so maybe one day I can find a copy of it. They have spot the difference!) The game actually doesn't look that complicated, but it is. It is... they hide items really well and in a comical way. Example: There could be kangaroo riding a horse with a machine gun near a kitten. That's just a sample of craziness ;). I also like the credits aka the funny drawings of the Developers! Oh yeah, my play time is 10 Hours +, because I tried to get "First Place" in every level. It's fun, but also crazy... at some points I had to take a break, because I couldn't find the simplest of items! Problems: Well... the game crashed on me. A few times. Until I figured out why it does it. There is some sort of bug that makes an item duplication (they have the same "shadow"), so if you see that... restart! The game gets confused with the same item. At one point I had an item appear that wasn't on the painting anymore. Restart button is your friend. If you don't, then it will make you go to the next painting. Oh and it doesn't like the "options menu" during the "room design" and it doesn't let me click "Continue" or "Exit". Hello "X" button up top. There is also a fun mystery to solve as you go along, with comic style boxes at times! When you suspect everyone, you are sure to be proud of yourself as you discover that you were right when the person is revealed! Thank YOU for bringing this game back! I would like to play the first and third game, but I understand if it isn't possible... One can dream though! Thanks! :) :> =)
Даже и не знаю кому эта игра может понравится.....
Recommended for people who have already played a bunch of hidden object games and are looking for a challenge and a scenario that differs from the usual fantasy / dark supernatural / grisly crime themes in hidden object games. You might want to stay away from this game if you have never played a hidden object game before or consider most of them difficult. This is a hidden object game (HOG). There is pretty much no variation. It's a long chain of short story bits (usually conversations) in text form, followed by a historical painting with heaps of extra items added to it. At first these paintings seem a lot harder than hidden object scenes from other games, but there are certain patterns to how objects are placed, so towards the end of the game you will find it only slightly harder than previously played HOGs. It is a pretty entertaining game. The only gripe I have with it is how it fails to correctly shut down on my Windows 10 PC: The exit button in the menu does nothing and when you hit Alt+F4 and confirm the game shutdown, it takes about two minutes for the game to stop being displayed (you can already interact with your computer as normal, you just can't see anything except for the windows mouse pointer).
https://youtu.be/ZLWIotDDG4o What may have started as a money saving decision to use license free classical art turns out to work pretty well as a weird, but fun, premise to hook this game around.
Extremely challenging.. informative and fun
