I don't understand all the negative reviews. The game runs well on Win10 with an Xbox 360 controller and I haven't found more than one spelling error in the many German text outputs yet. Every ordinary newspaper has more of those on one page! Only my thumbs hurt after playing one hour and trying the very demanding levels over and over again. ;-)
Muito top divertido, da hora
Hexodius isn't the worst example of this kind of game, but it's not compelling either. Especially not at full price. I got it on sale, but it's otherwise pretty skippable.
Not a bad little twin stick shooter...but definitely has some things going against it. The worst thing is probably the limited fov, and sometimes the bottom hud can obstruct enemies too. There's also no makers on the side of the screen to indicate where enemies are off screen. I also disliked how you only get 3 upgrade slots, there needs to be more! Regarding the upgrade slots, you can only have 3 equipped, but when there's bigger and stronger bullets, faster shoot rate and a larger magnet to attract the shards it kinda makes those essential in my opinion. You can mix and match at any time which is great though. The overworld map is pretty cool too. You can go to the levels you want, (mostly) which is nice. Bosses are all fun, but man...they are really spongey. The story is predictable too but that's not a big deal to me.
Enjoyable arcade twin stick shooter. Seems most of the negative reviews are because of it needing an x-input controller. The game itself is pretty decent though. Would recommend.
Better than expected game best played in small doses. Pro: - Easy to get into twin stick shooter action. Quite traditional action with powerups and what not. - Fun bosses. Some even challenge you. Con: - Early game is SLEEPY BORING and the main reason why so few get far into the game. It does get better though. By the time you reach second boss the amount of toys available increases and you also have to start planning on how to both make money and spend it wisely
