Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Much like Hammerwatch 2, it has decent bones, but isn't nearly as captivating as its predecessor.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Consigliatissimo.
EDIT:--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edited again. There was a part in the game that I disliked strongly, but it turns out that my perception deceived me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The game is a lot like it's predecessor HoHW 1, enhancing on the upgrading stuff that you can do in your town, to improve your powerlevel from run to run. As a roguelike, it's setting a lot of great examples on how to do it right. Dying feels a lot less annoying and grindy than in most games of this genre.
What I didn't like:
Aside from my main ctiticism below, what I disliked the most is the lack of interesting level ideas. As far as I have played it, there isn't anything "bad", but everything feels a little too familiar and ordinary. Nothing ever surprises in unusual ways. That isn't being helped by trap rooms that have the exact same concepts as those in the previous title - navigate a small section of fire, arrows and/or spikes to be rewarded with a chest containing a trinket/equipment. I think what I would have appreciated a lot is more to discover in the form of secrets or choices. For example, levels that give you a choice on where to go next, to reach your goal. Meaning, a level could have two exits that lead to distinctly different biomes, both of which bring you to the same destination eventually. Like, one exit goes through sewers to enter the citadel from below and the other exit goes through a forest to reach the building's main gate. That could give a little more variety for each run. (The various shortcuts that get opened up, don't really provide variety). In that same vein, there should be secret levels to find and "chest rooms" could be more interesting than to just be hidden behind a breakable wall or protected by a small trap section. They also shouldn't always be "chest" rooms. How about freeing prisoners that grant an item as reward? (Something like this is used for unlocking gameplay aspects, but it always feels random and never like actually "freeing" someone). I'd also like to see more exotic ideas for locations, or at least more interesting things happening! Edit: After having finished multiple runs, I have some additional comments/criticisms that I intend to list here when I find the time and leisure.
For anyone who's irritated by the traps in the goblin dungeon:
I initially left my harshest criticism here. Thanks to Sicklezi in the comments below for pointing out my error. If you don't mind the very mild spoiler, you can see how to handle the rock traps in said comments section.
Fun game. Many different builds and most are end game viable. no real story. linear progression. Overall a solid purchase
重复又无聊
I think this is a great game. Since I have played the first Heroes of Hammerwatch for over 100 hours, I really love what they have done with the second game. It keeps a lot of the things that made the first game so fun while adding a lot of new content and ways to play. I've already had a lot of fun with it and I'm looking forward to putting many more hours into it. Definitely recommend it if you enjoyed the first game. Though it could use more in the later stages of the game, alot of replay ablility here! Strong 9,5/10
After putting over 150+ hours into this game, I can say .... I like the variety of classes and skills—there’s plenty to think about—and the lack of restrictions means you can play a Paladin with a bow if you really want to. However, there are downsides; the main one, I think, is the cheaters (I saw a character at level 300,000). There is also very little variety in items so far. I’d like to see more social features and variety, and I hope the project continues to develop.
Хорошая игра! По сравнению с 1-ой частью персонажей пока маловато , но атмосферу сохранили по моему сохранили прекрасно . Спасибо за отличное продолжение и желаю всем кто приобрёл превосходных партий )
