Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was reluctant to get this for a long time due to my disappointment in hammerwatch 2. that being said this has been a solid experience and worth getting. However there are some balance issues and QoL issues that should have been addressed by now. - Should be able to move skills to different slots so a player does not have to rebind controls every time they try a new character. - Need more information about things and should be easier to access this information; like tooltips. - Tomes are just silly and can't see many ever wanting to use them. - Why would a rogue use a single dagger and shield over dual daggers? DLC/Priest - Scepters are silly and should have the range increased. - Lantern's beam should heal players more and/or should be thicker. It should also pierce through players and enemies or if not it should have an impact on collide with some sort of diameter to boost range and effectiveness. - Divine Intervention's cooldown is ridiculous; full tier and is still nearly a three minute cooldown. And I'm sure there are more things others could attest to.
Bom jogo para quem gosta de grindar e repetir coisas. Deveria ter saido por 20 reais desde o inicio, que é o preço promocional.
I really like the Hammerwatch franchise; I plan to 100% complete all the games, and right now, I’m halfway through this one. But unfortunately, due to recurring and completely random crashes, as well as sudden FPS drops, *Heroes of Hammerwatch 2* has made it onto my list of games I wouldn't recommend. Just picture it: you’re in the middle of an epic run with a great set of items and skills, and suddenly the game starts stuttering and crashes to the desktop. You open it back up only to find you’ve lost the run entirely—or, in a slightly less disastrous scenario, that you’ve been set back two or three maps to the last save point. It’s incredibly disheartening, frustrating; it makes you want to just give up on the game for good and hope they fix it someday. I didn't have these kinds of issues with ANY of the previous games. There are many reports of players facing the same problem. I tried various potential fixes—from lowering graphics quality to the minimum to running as administrator, using compatibility mode, and adjusting CPU affinity—but nothing worked... So, yeah... I’m going back to the run that crashed—assuming it still exists... Update: My run wasn't completely lost this time, but the game crashed two more times after that—meaning I had to play the same map more than once.
Pros: - Great sense of progression (town, gear, subclasses etc.) - Amazing bang for buck with potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay - Seamless multiplayer integration Cons: - Performance tanks at later difficulties with enemies attacks and numbers absolutely clogging the screen (would prefer less enemies that are more difficult). - Some classes needs buffing in singleplayer for them to be as viable to play alone (Paladin easy alone vs. Ranger hard for example).
Honestly, Hammerwatch 2 gets a lot of flak for being a multiplayer-only game, but single-player is still totally fun—you just have to know what you're getting into. If you are just starting out, the pacing is incredibly slow. At the beginning, you have no gear, you're constantly running out of mana, and you move like you're walking through molasses. You basically have to chip away at enemies, run backward to kite them, and slowly build up your character. But once you get past that initial hump, unlock a few good skills, and get some decent loot, the rhythm gets way better and it actually becomes a really solid, relaxing dungeon crawler to explore on your own. That said, if you have a group of friends? It turns into a total blast. It's a challenging, old-school hack-and-slash. On your own, it’s a slow-burn 7/10 that takes some patience to get into. But grab two or three friends, order some pizza, and the multiplayer easily bumps it up to an 8.5/10 weekend game.
