If you looking for Wuxia RPG or just a fan of the RPG genre like myself then congratulation you just struck gold. No, seriously, this game is so awesome, it reminds me of Suikoden with a touch of Trails series, two of my top RPG of all time. The freedom that this game allow is incredible, they even allowed me to beat up ANY NPC that I want to beat up as long as they still talkable. This game features a lot and I say a lots of recruitable NPC, each recruitable has their own quest that tied to them. I must admit, not all the NPC have the best quest, but some are genuinely made me feel emotional. For example, I cried when I finished Hua Tuolo (The dancer lady in the monkey forest near Linan City) because how good it was. And personally my most favorite feature of all, marrieges, there are 24 marriages candidate in this game and that's a lot in my opinion, but not only that you can build your own harem in this game. My only complain is the lack of high rarity skills for weapons such as Long, Short and Musical.
Was playing it for about 10 hours and kind of got bored. The combat was boring. The story was very compelling, and interesting but I couldn't get past the combat. Sorry Dev's!
The game overall is really good. However the bugs and the translation get really bad at times, as there would be a dialogue that is just Chinese. Other time, game breaking bugs wont let you progress a quest line.
玩了有100多个小时了,发现这个游戏缺点深度,也可以说是有很多设定都是半成品的,这让想持续玩下去的时候就很难受,加MOD也很难延续游戏时长,希望可以完善游戏设定
Fun game with a lot of replayability. In fact, the whole point of the game is its replayability. There are many different weapon types and skills, meaning many possible unique builds. With achievements you unlock perk points you can buff your character with. Meanwhile, there are many different storylines to follow. Which, depending on what choices you make, can result in vastly different outcomes. For its price, especially on sale, Hero's Adventure is a great purchase.
If your looks for a good wuxia game, then this is! There are so many options for a weapon, and despite the combat being mainly about whoever has the bigger stats, weapons and techiques matter alot. It's fun.
Bought it on a whim because it was on sale. Ended up crying because I couldn't save an NPC I had literally just met. The combat is a bit on the shallow side, but the amount of freedom the game gives you more than makes up for it. It may look like a goofy game at first, but when it decides to get serious, the emotional moments really land. The dialogue is concise and to the point, without a lot of unnecessary padding, making it easy to follow. Definitely worth playing at least once.
There are lots of flaws, but It's somehow good enough that I believe people'll enjoy an 'improved' version of it. Very excited for the upcoming spinoff.
This took me totally by surprise An open-world JRPG-like with Final Fantasy Tactics combat and wuxia cultivation character building. Super unique and fun, it feels like a more contained, more polished sibling to Elin. It also has this beautiful isometric pixel art that's a joy to walk through, and pretty diverse story/scene changes based on your actions. ...How have I not heard of this before?? What a gem! EDIT: Okay, I already liked this but I was NOT familiar with your GAME, man. There are so many characters to recruit with decently developed questlines, and a ton of interconnectivity between the characters and world. This is borderline an indie Baldurs Gate 3, I just don't know how they did it. More games like this please!
