If war is the closest we get to hell on earth, it's because Earth harbours the worst of demons: humankind. In an isolated country ravaged by infighting, discover the secrets of your past and deal with the repercussions of a mysterious calamity.

Prices

Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
Hell is Us is a 3rd-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and face mysterious creatures all along your journey.
As well as the civil war dividing the country, the region is suffering from a mysterious calamity, which has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and sword from a different age are your faithful allies as you cut a path through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.
No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are yours alone.
Swords, spears and axes: a wide range of weapons forged specially for fighting these supernatural creatures is available. You will need to learn how to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.
''The central theme of Hell is Us is that human violence is a perpetual cycle fueled by human emotions and passions.'' – Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, Creative Director

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game.
If Steam had "neutral" reviews this would be one, but since it's more on a negative side it is what it is. I did finish the game and not impressed Pros: 1) The world. You land in a land that has two differing people that hate each other and throught the history make attemts at trying wipe out the other side with all the brutality - or more towards war crimes - it includes. All the effort put into portraying how far these people are gone and that they are both basically the same while each claims the other are subhuman is something else. 2) Exploration. Lots of items to find, collect with puzzles here and there that give more information about the world and it's history. Negatives: 1) It's short, even with all the backtracking I have 33h played(or so steam says) - this includes taking breaks for food or walking the dog etc with the game running. Mind you I didn't collect everything, but I did all the good deeds(side quests), timelopps and killed ALL enemies and a good chunk of mysteries. Also I don't see NG+ anywhere 2) Combat... Ugh, Fr*nch level difficulty. I died total 5 times: 2 to drowning, 1 to glitching inside a wall, 1 to fall damage and 1 in combat at the end of the game. Up till a3 you can just smash your way through any opponents with brute force. There are no bosses in a real sense of the word and the only mobs that actually require you to move out of the way are right at the end of the game. 3) The worldbuilding and the story that is generally good is wasted. It literally gets dropped with no further explanation - you understand a bit of it if you collected enough side items to get a summary of the item category but that is that. If you miss them you have no clue what you're doing and why. 4) Character progression. Well your only way to progress is to get better gear - there are no levels for you or stats to allocate. To get better gear you need to progress the story a bit and afterwards you upgrade the weapons with mats found on monsters. And this would maybe be fine if monsters of threat 3 weren't the max of the game since if you focus a route you find them pretty fast, kill a few, go back, upgrade and you're maxed at... roughly 40% of the game done. And you guessed it - you will go back and be forced to kill lower levels who are now just a waste of time who also respawn untill you close the relevant timeloop so you go through them sometimes multiple times... slog
Hell yeah
I review it as positive but my position is a huge NEUTRAL state. Story/lore wise, the game is very solid. I enjoyed really much looking for stuff lore related, write the dates, understand the different protagonists during the whole story. The articles you're able to read during endgame phase (act2/act3) are well written and once again, I really enjoyed reading them because it brings a lot of informations and resume well the story/lore and the timeline. The game is pretty, the different places (related to the keys) were really beautiful. Then... That's pretty much the only thing I enjoyed about the game. Our protagonist and its close relations are not really interesting while almost all the other npc's are. The "good deeds" missions were nice, makes the story and lore more understandable and reinforce the atmosphere and the feelings npc's have concerning the war and the events. I thought the fights were souls like, people in the reviews says it's souls like => It's not. It's an hacknslash genre, did not used any consumable item really much you can just go in, parry at right time at some moment and that's pretty much. There is good ideas about some "bosses" but they arrive too late in the game and at this moment I already found the fight system boring. End of the game spoiler:
The end is really frustrating. While during the game when the story take place and the different people around it too, it become "easy" to understand what will come next and the different twists.
BIG SPOILER:
the mother, the OMSIF/Ziel council purpose, the mother as secretary and the necklace for example (BUT that's not necessarily bad)
still end of the game spoilers (the last seconds):
still, while we were arriving to the end of the game I was wondering what will happen on this interrogation room. I was expecting something idk, different, surprising or anything. I was even wondering if we would quit the interrogation room and still play the game for a final act versus something else but nope. What's happening? The mother take the gun, kill the OMSIF/Ziel Council guy and you leave the room, with the necklace still there and then we see that the calamity is still up/alive. That means they are preparing a 2 I guess? tbf I'm not interested about fighting against the entity or the OMSIF/Ziel Council on another game, what makes me stay there its all the lore about the paloms/sebs and since when they were fighting. Also, we already know what the Ziel Council is up to. We already know almost of the lore/story about the calamity. The only thing we do not know but we can guess is Ziel Council is probably Eye Order or something related, the ON chiefs are linked to the Ziel Council. we do not know what happen to Dr. Mabden, we do not know what happen to Tania (while we can guess she is probably dead). Anyway, very frustrating, the buildup was insane and then nothing
hell is the enemy variety
