This could have been a small fun game, but it clearly needed a lot more work. The game is poorly optimized. You can’t adjust sensitivity or audio in the settings. Enemy AI is terrible — they often walk through walls and shoot at you from inside them. Achievements don’t even work properly. I can see what the developer was trying to make, but this just isn’t it. Sadly, it’s not worth playing.

Before I played This Game... I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.
Кстати, именно Луи и Рики написали слова к своему первому хиту «Before the Break of Dawn», а Ричард сочинил тексты для «Hester Prynne» и «In Dying Days», которые позже вошли в дебютный альбом.

P. S. If you have difficulties in the walktrough, this guide will be very useful: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3561496240
CATEGORY: GULMAN-LIKE GAMES
"Heavily Armed" rightfully earns its title as one of the crappiest indie games on Steam and is aiming for the lowest possible ratings. This action shooter is set in 2043, a world transformed by cybernetic upgrades and cloning. You wake up in prison with no memory of who you are or how you ended up there. Turned into a cyborg but still haunted by memories of your past, you explore a corrupt city ruled by a ruthless crime empire, gathering gear, taking revenge on enemies, and uncovering the mystery of your past. Sounds like the setup for something interesting, right? Unfortunately, that’s where all the good stuff ends. You can basically forget everything you just read—there’s no logic, no drama, and zero common sense in the story. The story-telling is a total pain. Games this sloppy could almost create their own genre (see the preview title), where everything is chaotic and, to put it mildly, unprofessional. It feels like the story was written by either a kid or someone with a mental disability (or maybe both), because it's all presented as a slideshow. Before the crappy level, the player has to go through images with just as ridiculous events and dialogues, which, judging by everything, were made in some basic editor, without any enthusiasm, and just thrown together. The story being told through comics isn’t that bad on its own, but it’s absolutely crazy how someone managed to dump out this kind of trash in Unity without even understanding basic game mechanics like AI, voice acting, or proper task setup. This hits the gameplay hard: enemies spawn totally unfairly, and sometimes they just act like they don’t see you, leaving you wondering if the game was supposed to be stealthy or a bloody action mess. And as soon as you take out one enemy, suddenly all nearby enemies swarm you, no matter the distance. Sometimes there are so many enemies that the game’s performance tanks dramatically. Enemies literally walk through walls and shoot through textures (yes, even the laser sights). In the end, the only strategy the game actually expects from the player on every level is to run straight from point A to point B. Game design is a whole different story. Some textures are just unfinished and literally fall apart into artifacts. If you jump a bit higher over a wall, you can see that the player isn’t actually on a designed level but on a massive polygon. The graphics are just as bad — they’re blurry, gross, and make you want to puke (and the inability to handle shadows so you can barely see anything is totally ridiculous). As for the levels: checkpoints are placed completely randomly, and getting lost among just four walls is super easy. Not only did the developers handle their product so carelessly, but they also trick players with the Steam trailer, which promises and shows stuff that isn’t anywhere in the game (graphics, different enemies, something like proper cutscenes). And if you want to play through all the levels without stopping, you have to manually load each one after finishing the previous. You see sloppy work like this sometimes, but here it’s shocking. Bugs are a whole other story. You can’t reload your weapon on the run, shots at enemies don’t even register up close, and melee combat is totally useless. If you fall through the floor or if a level starts before you get a chance to read the comic, there’s no way to reload it. The only fix is Alt + F4. Honestly, this is one of the worst games on Steam you could run into, even with achievements and collectible cards. Definitely don’t even look at it, let alone play it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3612049014
P. S. 2x. Did you like the review or my profile? I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
One of my closest friend who I play with said if I post a review on the game and it gets 69 likes and 69 Awards that he will buy me a new gaming chair to replace my floor mat and a new keyboard to replace my current apple keyboard. So im just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha out
