Inch your way through oppressive darkness using only a flashlight and 6th sense in this tense top-down roguelike. Shoot, stun, electrocute, poison and blow-up monsters in abandoned corporate offices where resources are scarce and even the furniture could be trying to kill you.

I've found this to be spooky and entertaining. The animations, sound effects and punchy weapons make for an addictive combat experience. It's easy to die but gets more rewarding the longer you survive and the more enemies you kill. I'm a big fan of the simple but fleshed out perks system. Even early on you can come across a few different perks. The great thing about this, is that almost always it's hard to choose which you want more. Once you choose you might not get a chance to get the others. Overall I'm staggered at how well rounded this game is from a mighty dev team of one person! If you're a fan of well paced, dark atmospheric action with a sense of humour, you'll love this. Looking forward to future updates and playing more!
I enjoyed the many hidden gems within this game. I liked the ability to choose which upgrade I wanted. I also enjoyed the fact the resources are limited and you have to be strategic in how you play. You cant just find the elevator and run past the monsters. You have to fight, collect and find your way through the maze like map. Overall a great game and I look forward to spending more time leveling up and fighting the boss.
An absolutely fantastic game, this game gives that suspense that you live for. You are a person venturing in these extremely dark areas with only your trusty dandy flashlight (I mean you have a gun and grenades but you do not feel powerful with those weapons which I love about this game). Its when you come around a corner and have something lunge at you that you need to find a new pair of pants because your previous pair have been soiled. I would definitely recommend this game, it's UI is easy to understand, and the game play with the added death features makes it quite an awesome challenge! The atmosphere in this game tops that of even the best AAA horror/suspense titles, what the developer has done to make the atmosphere like it is, is truly impressive!
This game is the beez knees, the ant's pants, the caterpillar's kimono and then some. More objectively if you want a good overview, watch the intro video, it gives a great sense of what the game is and what its like to play :p
yeah not a great product despite the fact its going for a solid idea. pros - flashlight limited sight for tension - sixth sense letting you plan ahead - decent layout of a roguelike genre cons - terrible ai, some ai are braindead and will attempt to try walking through walls, which lets you kill them there and then because you can melee things through walls, one particular enemy if you stand behind them will never turn around because they aren't start enough to do that and try to keep attacking the nothnig in front of them - prone to crashes several times during loading screens in runs. very cool no comment - accuracy is god awful, standing still or moving and regardless if you take an upgrade it's going to be stupid due to the fact as a roguelike ammo is scarce and you need to save it accordingly - you need to purposely kill things to move ahead to next levels for 90% of your floors. the only terrible design for this game ive seen so far, especially when there are particular enemies that need bullets to be killed sometimes for meeting your quota to get to the next floor so just get softlocked if bad rng and the terrible accuracy system ♥♥♥♥♥ you over
Easy to learn but hard to beat!! Great game to kill some time with. Heartless dark is a good but creepy (and kinda funny) challenge.
Atmospheric, Claustrophobic and at times brutal. Definitely a game for those looking to enjoy horror, shooting and suffering at your decision to not reload your gun before finding one of those diamond head ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I find the game to be incredibly riveting and tooth-grittingly spooky, with simple enough mechanics for someone with little experience playing video games, while being consistently tense and engaging. Truly brilliant visuals and terrifying, immersive sound design. I had a real sense of tension and urgency while playing, and felt very genuinely proud at making it past that first level. I also particularly enjoy the world-building through the use of witty snippets of text from Malum Co. I'm absolutely rubbish at it, but damn it's fun
Fun little game, really hard
