In a cold, dark future dominated by mega-corporations, a small lonely planet on the edge of habitable space is the site of a shadowy research facility specializing in necrotic tissue reactivation. You are a scientist who has suddenly awoken to the realization that you are the lone survivor.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A masterclass and one of the pioneers in the top down roguelike survival genre. Few games have come close to what Teleglitch achieved more than a decade ago. Safe recommendation if you're into tactical perfectionism and minmaxing your loadout and skillset through vigorous effort.
If there was an optional non-ironman mode so you could save your game between levels, I think I would like this game. And apparently I'm not alone, a lot of people have said similarly in forum posts over the years, and most people give up on this game quickly and don't even finish the first couple of levels, based on the achievement rates. But the developer has essentially said he doesn't want people to be able to continue playing after making a mistake. This means if you're not a gamer god, you're basically stuck replaying the same, boring few levels over and over and over and over until you wonder why you would play a game that is purposely designed to punish you. Your run is over after just a couple of split second mistakes (or sometimes just one). The melee combat requires sub-pixel accuracy. I see comments from presumably hard core gamers who say they like the difficulty, but I don't see what the harm would be in letting them have an iron man mode, which is essentially what the game is now, and a "normal" mode where you can at least have a save between levels so you can actually practice, learn, and improve without needing to dedicate hours upon hours replaying the starting levels again and again. Not a game friendly to people with limited gaming time.

Died way too many times for my weak ego.
The GFX here is not the selling point at first - but that can change quickly and that you will love it. This game is intense, its thrilling and you will die alot by enemies or your own doing - be it to blow yourself up, run into the abyss, carelessly running into new rooms and getting swarmed and ripped to pieces ... or just simple shot. You will only need 5-10 minutes to know if you love or hate this game... I own Teleglitch since forever and its always installed. Be it for a quick trip or my try to get to the end again... Its hard. Its unforgiving. Its fun! P.s. I own that game since nearly 12 Years - and i still play it... and it still feels fresh.
More than 10 years since I bought it, and still every fight is pumped with adrenaline. Running frantically, trying to dodge hails of bullets and select nailbomb which you saved for just this situation. Never knowing if opening another doors will bring a horde of enemies or a box of much needed items. Action in this game is just as sweet and juicy as the graphics are simple, and keeps you on your toes, cause as soon as you feel overconfident with your mighty guns and stacks of medpacks, you encounter some military monstrosity which was probably designed to annihilate tank platoons.
Extremely Underrated
This is a fairly competently made survival rogue-like shooter. Each run occurs on a procedurally generated map, and you try to find your way out through swarms of enemies using only what limited ammo and resources you can scrounge up. The controls are a bit basic in an indie-game kinda way, but serviceable and intuitive, and the aim is serviceable enough for a top-down shooter. It's just not a genre that particularly appeals to me. I'm personally someone who is more interested in exploration and story, which this game tantalizingly offers in the form of worldbuilding lore dropped on random computers around the complex and a large map to poke into the nooks and crannies of. These elements are what originally interested me enough to play the game. However, the exact elements the positive reviews praise - "intense desperation of survival", "old-school, hard as nails" - are elements that don't particularly appeal to me. I've heard it said before that golf is "a pleasant outdoor walk spoiled by a small white ball". That's kind of how I feel about this game. Teleglitch is "an immersive worldbuilding exploration spoiled by a large swarm of mutants". So do I recommend this game? Well, despite the binary yes/no Steam offers, the question is really what you're looking for. 1.) Are you a fan of rogue-likes? 2.) Are you a fan of top-down shooters? 3.) Are you a fan of brutally difficult games? 4.) Are you a fan of survival horror? 5.) Are you a fan of minimalist pixel graphics? The more of these questions you answered "Yes" to, the more this game was made for you. And if this list made you interested to play it, then I would heartily recommend it. However, for others who have interests closer to my own, I would recommend skipping this. And that's why I overall chose "not recommended". It is not a game that I would recommend to myself.
Dosh Doshington convinced me and its good
