It's a story about a kid named Sean, whose town is about to be destroyed by a meteorite in 12 minutes. Every time he dies, he starts anew from that 12 minutes before the end mark. So he needs to find a way to save himself and, hopefully, his fellow town folks. The 12 minutes limit may sound annoying, but actually it's not. You can do a lot of things in this interval. After progressing forward you will have an option to skip some already solved puzzles with a cost of 1-2 minutes, so it will remove all the possible annoyance from being forced to repeat the same things again and again. The game has 15 endings, some are funny, some are more serious. One of the endings will tell you the story about why all of this is happening to you. While some endings are easy to get, other ones require you to do things, which are really hard to guess on your own. Anyway you will need to make some notes, cause there are a lot of possible important things in the game, and it's not possible to keep them all in mind simultaneously. Besides trying to get every possible ending, it's interesting to explore the town, find the clues and references, and just have fun in applying different stuff from your inventory. It may or may not lead you to one of the endings :) While being made with RPG Maker, it looks cute and well polished, the sounds are neat too. So overall it's a nice experience, and I would like to recommend it to anyone who can enjoy a puzzle, full of exploration and paying attention to the details.
Tentative no - whilst I have completed it it crashed multiple times, at some points even blue screening me. It is a small fun game, but I don't recommend it
This is one of those games that seem pretty simple, maybe even cheap, at first glance... And thats exactly what it is - but it does not mean that its not fun! Those of you who like casual, small puzzle games, where you have to make yourself some notes here and there, or games that are so enriched with little details that reveal the full extent of the game only after repeatedly playing through... Those ones will most probably like this one! And in addition to that, there's this special "Donnie Darko"-atmosphere that resonates from this game... Something I would not have expected from this little piece of code lol.
After more than 3 hrs of gameplay and having discovered 3 of 15 (!) possible endings I thought I'd just have to write something about this little indie gem that I recently discovered in a sale. Just to mention right away: I didn't experience any crashes or bugs. Being caught in a loop you have 12 minutes to save yourself, your friends, your town from being extinguished by a meteor. What will you do first? Explore the city? Find others that want (or don't want) to be saved? Do several runs! Find different possibilities to escape, discover secrets that will lead you to totally unexpected endings! Being a huge fan of scriptwelder's games just as well as the Kindergarten series I'm totally into this stuff and cannot believe this indie gem passed me by when it was released almost two years ago. If you can deal with time management and rather challenging puzzles I'm sure you'll feel well entertained trying out this title - even at full price.
The art is fairly nice, but if it isn't an RPGmaker game it looks allot like one and that makes a bad first impression. Sadly there are no waifus. It's a puzzle game with a time limit, and I know some people like this kind of thing but I found it rather slow and boring.
This is a wonderful game of interconnected puzzles, there are lots of hints, riddles, and items to decipher. There are tons of ways to beat the game some silly, some very thought provoking and sad, and some really funny. The game has great humor too and it pays attention to details, like when the everything gets darker as your time runs out. About the game play, this game is very difficult, and it is full of mystery. You will be trying your hardest to get through puzzles while the clock is ticking. Every death you'll come back knowing more. Every time you'll get a little further and you'll probably never get far enough to know everything (unless you look it up). The game has so many puzzles twisted together as you progress through one you'll find pieces to another and eventually you'll find all the pieces to one and go that path and get to the end and realize you don't like the way it ended or you want to make it end another way. This game has really good replayability. You will get to the end and start again so many times. This game is probably one of my favorite puzzle games and I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants a good puzzle and a hard puzzle.
A nice game with interesting puzzles, lots of discoveries, crazy-cool story, stylish humour, cute graphics, great sounds and much fun! The concept is unusual and creates quite unique gameplay. Totally didn't expect to get into it this much. Got a bit lazy and ended up looking up hints online after 6 hours, to finish off all the endings, though. P.S. Hat. All the hats.
