Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Schönes spiel man gut dabei entspannen tolle Geschicht und nicht zu schwer
Absolutely amazing game and I couldn't stop putting it down once I started playing it. I was in that sort of phase where no game felt like fun and I just kept staring at my Steam library, looking for something to play, so I finally picked up this game after it's been sitting on my Wishlist for so long, and DAMN. It's been a long time since I was addicted to a game, actively wanting to play it every single day. I'm gonna give you a pros and cons list I guess, cause Harvestella is far from perfect, but the things it's good at it's REALLY good at.
PROS:
- The character (or rather Monster) design is PEAK. I am not necessarily talking about the NPCs (except for their clothing, which differs from town to town they are very similar looking) and human companions, they look nice, but not too much out of the ordinary from other RPGs. But man, the design of the bosses is AMAZING. The further you get in the game the cooler they become too! - The story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ AMAZING. It already starts off intriguing, but not too much out of the ordinary (which was also why I put off the game for so long), but after doing Chapter 3 it quickly shifts tone and just keeps getting more interesting. It reminds me a lot of NieR: Automata's story and how it felt to experience it. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride and drops lore bombshells left and right after like chapter 6(?) The game is also WAY longer than I expected. I finished the game after 75 hours and there's still content left - The companions' side quests all start off pretty slow/lame but eventually turn into incredible stories of their own (with the exception of some...). My personal favourite ones were Shrika's and Heine's stories, so I REALLY recommend to check those out - The farming aspect of the game is very similar to other similar games, like Rune Factory and Stardew Valley. It does some stuff better and some stuff worse, but personally I like it a lot. Either way, don't go into this game thinking that you'll JUST be farming and ignore the story. Harvestella is first and foremost an RPG WITH farming elements, not the other way around. - The OST/Sound Track is AMAZING. Especially late game there are some bangers I absolutely adore. Something that's a bit sad though is the fact that some of the tracks you will only experience for like 30 minutes to an hour, maybe even less. For example, the very last region/dungeon you explore in the game
CONS:
(Most cons are very surface level in my opinion, but there are a couple of exceptions) - Right from the start, the character creation is... lacklustre. You can choose between Male, Female, and Non-Binary, which is actually pretty nice, but then when you select the actual character/look, they are all female. Why not just give us a female protagonist directly? It's kind of pointless to create your own character when it has no effect, but I digress. It didn't bother me too much personally - The enemy variety is fairly limited. There are a lot of different enemies, don't get me wrong, but most of them are just re-colours and re-typings of the "standard" enemies you encounter at the beginning. I can see that being a turn-off for other people and I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed by that at times, but there ARE several enemy types that are exclusive to each region so it's not really too monotonous - Graphically the game is a bit rough. The aesthetic and art direction of the game are incredible though, so you forget about that very quickly. The upside to this however is the fact that the game could run on a literal potato, which also explains why there are so few graphic settings to begin with. You don't really need them. The thing that annoyed me to the very end though are the animations for the characters. I am not talking about the fighting animations for the different Job's abilities, they are cool. I mean the regular animations that you see NPCs do for example. They look clunky and there's not a whole lot of variety, so sometimes the devs had to use animations that don't fully fit the mood of the conversation and it's just a weird experience. Meanwhile, the animations for every companions' special attack look sick, I just don't get it. - Voice acting is... there? The game has voice acting but it's far and few between. There are not a whole bunch of lines and it's usually restricted to combat only. It's not bad voice acting, but it's very repetitive. HOWEVER, there's one specific line that Aria says near the end of the game, and if you know you know. That line gave me goosebumps, and even just thinking of it gives me goosebumps as well. I just wish there was more. Especially when it comes to the fairies when using their powers ._. It's giving Navi's "Hey listen" vibes.
CONCLUSION:
I started picking this game up because I wanted a farming simulator game with an RPG on the side, like Stardew Valley, or even Rune Factory. What I got was an incredible RPG with farming. I wholeheartedly recommend this game. The PROS heavily outweigh the CONS in my opinion. The game keeps on getting better the more you play, I can't stress this enough. I am just sad that the first impressions of the game are so rough, cause it turns a lot of people away from the game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Edit:The story is stupid and contrived, and the game bricked my save file because the pre rendered cutscene refuses to work in a no return situation, meaning my nearly 30 hours of progress are now wasted. Edit 2: I got the game to work out by not playing it on steam deck. I wish I could say the game was worth finishing, but as one of the few people here who's seen the games ending, it was not worth it. The game has bloodily ripped off chuncks of other stories that it thought were cool without understanding what about them worked. I swear the only reason you can't skip cutscenes is because they knew it was the only reason anyone would watch them. Story is not worth sticking around for, which is sad since it was trying to be rune factory with a huge story focus. But the story is a failure. This game is the bones of a better game that I really really really want. This game draws heavily on rune factory. This game is rune factory if Square enix gave a team of interns the hard drive for generic final fantasy assets and told them to make a ps3 rune factory game with a diet final fantasy 14 combat system. I got to give them props, they did deliver. I can't claim to love the game, but somehow I've gotten into it. At the ground level, it's a farming game. You plant seeds, water them, then collect what ever they grow into. Put what you wanna sell in a box, put what you wanna keep in storage, get some animals, rinse, repeat. The game does the basics and it does em fine enough. You want the harvest moon half of Rune factory, you got it. Done clean too. The other half of the gameplay is wandering into dungeons and hitting whatever you find there with a stick while it hits you with its face horn or whatever. I thought, given Square Enix's history, that the depth would be. Just like the farming, it's fine. If you've ever played the MMO final fantasy 14 then you know what you're getting into. You don't avoid hits unless there's an orange circle or line on the ground, and hope you got enough HP to tank the hits you will take. or better yet, get one of your tag alongs to tank em. When they do, the AI targeting on enemies is a lil hard to read sometimes. The story is extremely thin though, and it thinks it's smarter than it actually is. All they really did was shake the shoe box of the most generic JRPG story beats on top of the rest of the game then patched them together. it is as generic as it comes, and everything moves towards it's decided endpoint weather it makes sense or not. They're the most dressed down version of whatever character arc they're trying to fill in as. This game really needed a skip cutscene option, or a better story, Whichever comes first There are some stellar parts too though. Music is amazing stuff, just delightful to the ear everywhere you go. I'm especially fond of the Quietes music, it's very serene. The game is also extremely responsive and doesn't waste your time outside of cutscenes. It loads extremely quickly too. Even on my steam deck, I've never a black screen for more than a second. And it runs like butter. If there is ever a Harvestella 2, I hope they expand on what this game needs without burning what does work about it. It has real potential but doesn't really live up to it.
The story is fine, it's cute, but I've lost my save data twice. While I have a back up to repopulate the folder I have to start a new game and play a stupid long tutorial that's boring and annoying and doesn't have a skip function! Who doesn't implement a skip function? I'm about to give up all together on this game.
I'm on day 4. It's a charming time management game so far. Combat is pretty light. Maybe it gets more intense later? IDK. I think I will actually play it one day at a time, per real day. I am enjoying it so far. Calm life in a medieval village, with crops that grow all the way to harvest in just one day! Living in your own fairly splendid, split level home, because it was abandoned. What more could you ask for in a virtual life away from life?
故事很棒 支線小故事也很有內容
The cutscenes are too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slow, but I otherwise looove this lil farming + RPG sim. Never played a Square Enix/FF game but I'm loving it
What seems at first to be an overly simplistic game becomes more complex.
I LOVE this game. I love the started valley concept, but not the stardew valley aesthetics. This solves my problem in SO many ways. I hope Square has another one in the future. The story isn't the best written out there in terms of square Enix stories, but it is decent one for sure.
