The graphics, character movement, combat and story are all a PS2 special, but it is still a ton of fun. I would not recommend paying $60 for it, maybe $25-30. The fact that a year on Square is still charging full price is ridiculous.
Really good all round game. Good fun and a good challenge in parts. Nice atmosphere and world to explore. It is quite simple in design but it's a beautiful experience. Some of the recipes and such are unlocked a bit to late depending how you play which is a shame but i still really enjoy it.

Harvestella is a good game but not the best in its genre I've played so far. It is subpar as a farming simulator and an action RPG, but it is redeemed by a good scenario, good visuals and great musics. Of course, it's job from one of Square Enix's B-team, and it shows, but you'll have a good time with it, especially if it is your first Farm Simulator/Action RPG combo experience. I hope Square Enix will carry on with this kind of game and improve (maybe by strenghtening the team and a higher budget). A 6-7 out of 10 in my opinion. If you want a better game in the genre, I recommend you the two by Pathea Games "My Time at Portia" and its sequel "My Time at Sandrock" (which will be out of early access by november 2023. Too boring, and pain to play. Game is like made for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ consoles. Annoying game controles, made like for gamepad. I don't even see the mouse in menu! Uninteresting, but still long dialogues, what must to be much shorter to be acceptable. And else... I was annoyed from start by this game... Refund. Oh! And I made a male character, but for unknown reason it was impossible to make him look like male. Please, someone, show for the game makers, how males are looking like!

Rly tried to get into it but fell asleep quickly. But i made it to the first crop plots, and that was so clunky that i could not handle it anymore. You are like stuck in one direction while making a new plot with the hoe, which super annoying. The mouse does only work for left and right click on the game menus, so you always have to use keys to switch between buttons and then can confirm/decline with mouseclicks.
Chill vibes Final Fantasy with optional yuri. It's definitely easier than most games I play, but that plays well into the overall coziness of the world and its characters.
