Haque is a glitch fantasy roguelike adventure about cute monsters, low-bit hauntings, and a suspiciously talkative narrator. Choose your character and battle through forests, deserts and dungeons to defeat a mysterious evil. Die often. Try again!

A true hidden gem, even amongst its own little niche genre, haque is a fun traditional roguelike that i always come back to over and over again.
I've played this a lot from itch.io. I originally got the game with a big bundle. Reviewing here because it's awesome! If you like traditional roguelikes, this is a very fun and compact little game. The starting species/class combos allow for a lot of variation on somewhat simple gameplay. It's just plain satisfying, though, with nice little sfx and small animations. It doesn't have a ton of tracks but the music is pretty good. There's enough strategy in using your tools that you do have to think a bit to win. There are at least a few really good builds and a bunch of viable abilities. There's a story ending you can reach once which is neat. After that, you can crank up the difficulty and try a few modifiers. Don't forget you can turn off the grime effect that overlays the screen. Personally even though it is easier, I like the boons and pet equips a lot. The dev said he liked to play on 50% difficulty slider with both boon/maluses at character select as well, fwiw.
I must have smol peen and even smaller brain to be the only person who struggles to beat this in under a day, and no I am not exaggerating, I have done 30-40 runs, and all of them get SMOOSHED by the first boss... i also refuse to cheat and watch how others do it, but I am just into CBT like that thank you kindly
Fairly chill for a roguelike, but a surprising amount of content for it's expected length. I cleared the game with an evasive mushroom burglar wielding a laser gun and an oar. soundtrack is surprisingly good.
very nice
I really need more games like this. When i play this game i feel like im in the pinacle of somehow a kind of art but not in the roguelike aspect. Maybe i have to play it more?
Good fun little game. Boss ifght with skeleton is gianormusly difficult though.
Great game, but I keep getting a Fatal Errors. I would recommend this game if these bugs were fixed.
A fun and quirky dungeon-crawler where you can play as a dancing mushroom that can reanimate the dead and many other cool characters.
