Reviews
Would not recommend, way to many bugs and technical issues.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Unplayable garbage. 4 player co-op doesn't work at all. Someone gets dropped, the enemy AI doesn't load, the achievements don't pop. The only success this game had was suckering me out of $50 USD. Don't be a chump buy MCC, buy Haze on the PS3, buy anything else. This is objectively the worst Halo game ever made. I'm getting teary eyed with nostalgia for the Halo 5 and I hated that game. That is what it has come to. . A huge disgrace. A sicking boondoggle. A big sadness. It is over. I'm not going to make it. I'm on my knees at the toilet but can't throw up. Enough.
Coop doesn’t work and crashes regularly. Will update once they fix it, but for now they released a broken game… again. (Insert “Look how they massacred my boy” meme)
Let me start by saying I love Halo and this game is still fun to play because it still has some of the original Combat Evolved in its DNA however, I am not recommending this game for a few reasons. 1. The changes / additions made by 343/HS made to the game IE, most Cutscenes, Cortana, Voice lines, sprint, the flood, Johnson are worse than the MCC and OG Combat evolved version, I recommend you get that version instead hence the first part of the slightly more negative review. I will credit the studio with the graphics as they are actually excellent to be fair. 2. The game is to expensive at 50$, should be 30$ due too limited content. No Multiplayer really hurts this game. 3. When you first open the game your greeted to a QR code to link your account to the game, I hate this, this is mandatory when it should be optional, it really pissed me off to be honest, why do I need to be online and link an account to play campaign? no good. 4. the bonus level are not great. 5. Finally Performance on PC is not good, I have a fairly modern PC and I still am disappointed in the performance, additionally there are many graphic settings that are not adjustable without using mods. Apologies on my spelling of the settings but the point is the game performance and gameplay are underbaked, the execution overall is poor. I really think 343 // halo studios is not a good developer, they clearly don't understand Halo, they don't understand their audience, they really don't know how to make a good Halo game and to be honest their modern political agenda's need to stay home and not in the game please. In closing I really love Halo and am still having fun with the game despite the major flaws (Mods are really helping with that, go Halo Community) however, Halo Studios has proven many times that they are not the right team to steward Halo. Buy MCC play the original in the old Graphics first, if you still want to try this version after everything I said wait for a very big sale, try it. luckily by then the community "modders" will have probably completely fixed the game as they have already started to now. Xbox, you know what needs to be done, when your ready to release a truly great Halo game "Wake me when you need me." Vince
I really wish I could give this a mixed review. I think visually, this game maintains the feel of the OG, unlike Anniversary. You feel the flood, you feel the Pillar of Autumn under attack, you feel being on the beaches of Halo. That said, the changes in scenes with Cortana, along with removal of assets originally in the game for a reason (The rocks on The Silent Cartographer) and the reworked enemy spawning all feel really wrong. Cortana doesn't feel right. That isn't the fault of Jen Taylor, who does an amazing performance, it's the result of Halo Studios directing of her. The three prequel missions show what Halo Studios can produce, and frankly, it seems like it is time to hand Halo off to someone else. Stormfall33 has two shorts that sums up my feelings really well called "How did Xbox Allow this to happen to Halo?" and "The Problem with the new Halo Campaign Evolved ..." and she talks about how Halo Studios/343 have had five chances at this point to make a good Halo game, and every single one has failed. MCC is the only success, and that was after launching a completely broken mess. Why the hell is Master Chief going "You're always hungry"?! I just think its time to hang it up boys. Halo had a good run from CE to Reach.
this is a fun game to play with friends
I was given this game for free by a friend to play co-op together for the good old days, did I have fun? Yes! I was playing Halo Co-op with my friend. Do I think this game is in any way at all worth even half the price tag? HELL NO! I don't think I would have given a positive review even had it been half the price, with the amount of bugs, lack of multiplayer and just wierdly expanded cutscenes that took a tight story and added in more snarky comments... there just isn't much nice to say about it other than "Looks kinda pretty" and "It is Halo" just go play the masterchief collection instead and get many times the fun.
