personally had alot of fun playing.
the Cinematic cut scenes have been change to a point where I just skip it. Game play is buggy and a.i. enemies stand still, breaking the game play.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Look, I've been a Halo fan since 2001. I met some of the best friends I've ever had on Halo 2. One in particular is still one of my closest friends to this day and was part of my wedding party. I'm a very vocal 343 hater. I have been ever since Halo 4. They fumble and mess things up and let politics, outsourcing, office politics and bureaucracy get in the way of making good video games for the series fans. They shoehorn in their own sub-par world building and generic sci-fi writing into the Halo that came before them, and it never feet like anything pre-343 coalesced with anything post-Bungie, So knowing that about me, you'll have a tiny insight into how much I really wasn't expecting to say what I'm about to say. I loved this. I'm not talking about the technical side of things, because who cares about that. If your PC can run it, it will do fine. Mine does just fine and is not a high end pc by any stretch of the imagination. It has a normal amount of bugs and glitches that never got in the way of my gameplay that the internet will blow out of proportion. I'm talking about the soul of it. The very core of this feels very respectful to Halo. It's captures and expands the feeling of Halo: CE. The visuals are stunning, the groundwork for expanding and changing the world in a tasteful and appropriate way going forward are clearly there. And the visuals are absolutely stunning. I've played Halo for so long that in parts, I just turned the HUD off and battered away at Flood and Covenant alike. I'll be sinking some serious hours into this between now and whatever they announce next, with a tiiiiiiny bit of grace re-earned from this nobody OG Halo fan. The end where Chief says, ''I think we're just getting started'' felt like it took on a whole new meaning after 25 years. Good job guys.
One of the best remakes I've ever played. The graphics and environmental design are the perfect balance of stylization and modernization. The gameplay changes are fluid and add to my enjoyment of the missions without effecting the pacing or tone, and some weapons like the sniper rifle feel cleaner and smoother than ever before in the series. The small dialogue and narrative edits were perfectly placed and chosen to polish up the slightly abrasive jankiness of the original, without softening the narrative intensity, and I would say make the characters feel even more in line with the series as a whole. Music has been edited really nicely for a cleaner presentation while also looping in fitting moments rather than the one-play-done deal of the original. And last but definitely not least, the level restructuring especially on the Library and a few other spots that definitely needed it was all executed perfectly. Now the flood levels actually feel like a progressive decent into hell and desperation, and way more like modern survival horror games. All in all I love everything about it. Even the new bonus missions are fun, if slightly overfilled with shootouts. If I had to pick one thing that irked me at first it was the surprise of Johnson's original voice actor not being involved. I think the new VA does perfectly well with his manner of speech and tone, but the gruff edge is slightly lessened. Regardless his performance alongside chief and the marines in the new missions was an excellent extra slice of Halo lore, and I'm very excited to see what they can accomplish with fixing the mess that is Halo 2, assuming the absurdly 'mixed' balance of reviews on steam doesn't signify a loss in sales. I hope anyone who enjoyed this game and has money to spare will buy extra copies for their friends and family so we can keep heartfelt and caring efforts like this game alive.
OMG the controls for the Warthog an Scorpion tank are so WTF AM I DOING??? i AM CONSTANTLY DRIVING UP A DREE OR ANYTHING FIX IT.
Halo studios couldn't even make a game that was already made.
Overview: Great overall game with issues. Positives: Graphics are good, with a few models of characters feeling off, everything else is cohesive and makes sense, adding some details in the environment that I wished for as a child playing the original. Gameplay is great, amazing to play with, fantastic first person shooter. Level design great, mimics majority of the original, and with the fixes to levels like Keys and The Library, it is a massive improvement, and are really fun to play, and doesn't make me wanna just speed through the level. Story changes to the main campaign are minimal, and doesn't make crazy changes. Negatives: Bad bonus missions, they remind me of a better Spartan Ops from Halo 4, but really not what I wanted. Can be fun with 4 people, but have bad level design (fun/interesting environments) and bad writing. Not worth buying game for these extra missions. Lip sync is off or they did not try, every character feels strange watching them speak. Overall enjoyed the changes and updates to the main game and think it is worth the 50 dollars, especially if you never played the original, if you have played the OG and are not at all interested at the updates, you probably will not think the same
Refunded, please stop destroying my favorite shooter 343! We know you are not capable to make a good game, just stop!
