Its nice
loved it glad were not using the other engine anymore and had fun playing with friends the new cut scenes and the new missions don't understand the hate hope they end up doing Reach since the needle rifle in it or ODST as it'll give a lotta new life to those game and be really atmospheric
Look I'll get right to it, it's just not a game worth spending money on. Just play the MCC remaster. It just feels like a Halo Infinite mod. First off the price. Yes I am aware that ODST did sell at full price back in 2009. But at least that game had a unique perspective and it brought in something new for multiplayer to make up for it, Firefight! So that alone made up for the price in my head. The prequel missions, uh, really nothing special about them. I did like the space battles though, reminded me of Reach. Secondly, game needing to be online. Really? Thirdly, the audio, I can give credit to the voice actors but the writing and delivery just did not give the same impact as Combat Evolved. The gun sounds weren't really hitting home runs but the magnum was fun to use. And lastly, multiplayer. Just why? Why isn't there multiplayer? I can guarantee that this game would have been a lot better if multiplayer came with the game. Classics like Blood gulch, Damnation, Sidewinder, Danger Canyon and Battle Creek would have looked BEAUTIFUL with these graphics and would have played great too. I've been playing Halo since Halo 2 and I ended up playing everything down the road (Yes, even Halo 4 and 5). But let me ask this, did this game need to be made? Many were already playing CE on MCC before. But not only that, they could play almost all of the games and the spinoffs in one package! At this point, this feels like more of a cash-grab to capitalize on an already beloved classic. Game isn't bad, but just not worth it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

TLDR:
- Get it on sale because the game is NOT worth $50+
The Good:
- Gameplay: Lots of fun, mostly snappy. They should reduce the delay from switching weapons to being able to start shooting. - Visuals: Looks nice to the eyes. - Cooperative: It's always more fun with friends.
The Bad:
- Cutscenes: Jarring and downright goofy. - Enemy AI: Mostly Elites and Flood forget to move/attack.
Mixed:
- Performance (FPS): Mostly runs smooth, a couple hiccups and slowdowns. - Voice Acting: Captain Keys got Zesty, Cortana is all over the place. Ended up giving up and tuning it out.
Look, it has it's problems, but at the end of the day, its a beautiful remaster of HALO Combat Evolved. A good introduction into the franchise for beginners, and a great call back for seasoned HALO veterans. Just consider waiting until it goes on sale.
Una carta de amor a los fans, el remake fue increíblemente bueno.
Despite not being perfect and having a lot of flaws, I've been enjoying this game a lot. As a fan of the franchise, it feels great, despite being the same story, the new mechanics and balance make it a lot of fun. The bad thing is, it only have two game modes: Campaign and remix. Both single player and coop. Not firefight, not pvp, nothing else, which I hope they add later (at least firefight and scores). Some cutscenes have weird things and feel rushed, but still, is not game breaking for me. Still, I can recommend it if you really love the franchise or have friends to play with, if not, try the Master Chief Collection and get this remake on sale, at least for now, if they add more game modes then it could be worth to pay full price. I've been enjoying it a lot, and is my favourite version of this campaign, but it has flaws, some fixable like bugs, other don't, like some things in the cutscenes. Despite that, I recommend at least trying it for an hour and if you don't like it, just refund.
Honestly, Was so amazing to play halo in general again, graphic update is incredible. A little buggy when I came to some of the achiements as well as the occassional network issue but still a 10/10. If you are a long time Halo fan you won't be dissapointed in the slightest. Even with my awfull graphics card this game ran surprisingly well.
