Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
启动选项里加-culture="zh_CN"就有中文了
Next gen Rollcage Futuristic racer with hover jets and two sided cars which can drive on ceilings just like that. Huge wide tracks often split into multiple paths and plenty of vehicles to choose from. Speed is above your expectations so make sure to wear some googles. Levels turn racing into stunt event playing with perspective and changing how you drive - on walls, upside down and such. Vehicles have classic cars which have wheels and hoverjet cars which fly close to the surface. Generally speaking first group have better grip and second better acceleration or high speed. Campaign mode divided into tiers each one getting more difficult than previous one. Multiplayer mode is available, hard to find people though. Controls are customizable so sensitivity can be changed. High grip is important but will you trade it for better speed or acceleration? Overall speed is serious and so is the gameplay. One mistake will send you flying into space literally. A few power ups like speed boost, rockets, laser, minigun and such. Can hold up to two at once and activate them in any order. Gameplay consist of races, battle races where you have to score points and arenas. Music is great. What can I say? I could've wish for more content and power ups. Huge fan of this game so highly recommended! 9/10 in maximum rating score system.
Pure brain-off chaos in the best way possible. You drive stupidly fast cars on walls, ceilings or wherever gravity gave up. While rockets and explosions fly everywhere. It’s loud, it’s dumb, it’s over the top, and it works. On top of that, it’s a great continuation of Rollcage, staying true to the old-school anti-gravity madness. 10/10, zero thoughts, only speed
Dynamiczna, efektowna i trochę niedoceniana gra wyścigowa. Jeśli ktoś lubi futurystyczne wyścigi z dużą dawką chaosu, zdecydowanie warto spróbować. Polecam.
2 minute TLDR: Grip is a ton of fun, for people who are fans of the old Rollcage series. While not perfectly polished, the little snags the game does have don't massively hold it back from being enjoyable alone or with friends.
I don't wanna reiterate what others have already said, but the main loss of this game is the map design, truly isn't what you are expecting from the mechanics. If I had to put it in few words it would be "tracks feel fan made, in the worst possible way". Steer away. PS: Most underwhelmingly feeling speed boosts in all of racing.
Cant play online
for thirty years the playstation games, rollcage and rollcage stage two, were unmatched in any format. we needed network play, new music, some customisation, and any resolution. of course, after thirty years, we lose hope. now we have grip. and it's absolutely gorgeous. most of the menu flow is honed toward quickly getting to a mode and track with all the nuanced options within easy reach at the same time. the complete garage being available at every step, even between tournament rounds, allowing loading a complete set of custom paints and changing vehicles per track. dlc is integrated seamlessly and applied with customisations same as the wide library of in game unlockable content. if seamless rhythm through the menus and outside the game isn't needed then the dlc music tracks are also in the main game with all the wild energy depth and ingenious complexity of rollcage's original offerings. and then there is the race tracks. everything is bigger except the crucial racing lines which are crazy, swooping from one epic landscape to another through precise crevices and conduits. many routes, frequent surprises, and vast expanses of beautiful places. as of 2025 i add some notes: the resolution does not yet play well with steamdeck, so screen settings must be twiddled in game and out while most text is still unreadable. several bugs persist, like the 'insert coin' message even for an unequivocal win, and false 'wrong way' warnings. npc names and pics are inconsistant between every screen and random players are highlighted in race stats. these bugs don't stop the racing but they mess with the experience. special note for players with ptsd or sensitive to violence, the gameplay is not visceral, only robotic battling and extreme environments. yet from the first icon to the game mode names and trophy names and more is toxically violence coded. i don't know who expects this from a game that instantly replaces every vehicle back on track, but i have to conclude the developers team has bowed to a perceived userbase that favours toxic edginess in multiplayer racing games, even though the nature of the game is like it's wild carefree inspiration, rollcage stage two for the playstation one. still i give this game a recommendation due to the fluent multiplayer machinations in the sheer beauty of the epic level design which must be experienced by everyone who can cope with the technical and attitude issues.
I loved this game at first, but the more I played it, the more frustrated I became. Many times I have uninstalled it, only to get the urge to play it again and give it another chance. Only to be let down every time. The AI rubber-banding is far too strong. Even using "catch-up assist" doesn't help. If they have a lead on you, good luck. You may as well restart. The final lap of every race seems to have a curse where the AI catches up to you even if you've maintained a good lead for the entire race up to that point. For a game called "Grip", your vehicle sure does lose its grip easily. It is far too easy to fly off a ledge or dislodge from a ceiling track. You can struggle to hit a turn just right, then suddenly turn too far, only to try correct your angle and spin out the opposite way. Some tracks are worse about this than others. And certain tracks have temperamental ruling on what counts as you being on the track. A few times I've gone airborne, but not out of control, yet somehow been automatically reset, as the game assumed I was off the track entirely. Just when I thought the game couldn't pull any more tricks, I had a race where another car pulled ahead by a hair for a split second and stole 1st place, which happens, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that the game simply decided that a car which was behind me, was in fact actually ahead of me. Despite being in 2nd, it simply counted me as in 3rd. The rubber-banding and constant loss of control is bad enough, but when the game can simply decide at any time to overwrite your position and put you further back, despite literally being ahead, then what is the point of racing?
