Solid game play, lots of lore, random loot, reminds me of Diablo 2
I haven’t been this addicted to a game since vampire survivors came out. This is literally so fun and I’ve only played one character. Im itching to finish the story so I can run it back with a different class combo.
Honestly, surprised at how good this game is. Tons of content, loot, talents, huge world to explore. Would recommend this to anyone that enjoy Diablo type games

Finally a solid ARPG that works almost flawlessly switching back and forth between my PC and the steam deck.
停不下來
还没有开始玩呢,一进去设置改游戏语言改不了,改音量改不了特别是这个音量只要我推出游戏重新进又回退到最初的设置。 只能说系统烂的一批!!!!!!!!
TL;DR: If you see this game on sale, buy it immediately! If you see it at full price, buy it anyways. After almost 70 hours and 70 levels I have beaten my first normal difficulty playthrough and I can confidently say that Grim Dawn is one of the best ARPG games I have every played. In fact, it's easily my favourite diablo-like ARPG, it's like a proper Diablo 2 sequel that we never got. Grim Dawn is a classic ARPG with the three main gameplay parts - combat, loot and character progression, and all three are made exceptionally well. The combat is flashy and engaging, the loot is well balanced and gives that item slot machine dopamine hit until the very end of the game, and possibilities for build crafting are incredibly diverse. Between multiclassing, picking skills and abilities, augmenting all that with the devotion bonuses you can easily spend hours theorycrafting your build before you even start playing. The game is set in a very interesting Dark Fantasy setting with a surprisingly deep lore. That is something I don't often expect from the games of this genre and I was very pleasantly surprised there. The main story is also good enough to motivate the player to progress further. I even found myself reading the lore notes and specifically searching for some of them to learn more about the world or about some small separate stories that I found in some of the notes. The presentation is also great - the visuals are still holding up very well, even though the game was first released almost 10 years ago. That is mostly thanks to amazing art style which makes everything look cool - the enemies, the weapons, the characters and the world all look great even if the graphical fidelity can't compete with more recent games in the genre. The sound and soundtrack are also good and are doing their work in immersing the player in the game even further. The game also plays well on Steam Deck, but I recommend to re-map the bottom buttons to more actions. The game tends to give every class combination more useful skills than can comfortably fit on the typical controller, so the bottom buttons come in handy. Other than that the game works very well on Deck, and surprisingly is not very hard on battery - I could play for almost 4 hours on a 90% charge. I found only a few downsides. First, the side quests are often pointing to the areas I already cleaned and not having a clear quest market until I'm close enough, which made me re-explore some areas trying to find that marker. The reputation system is great in theory, but involves a bit of a grind to max up. I also experienced a few times when the game just hanged and I had to close it. A little bit annoying, but no big deal. If I try to nitpick hard enough I can say that it looks like most of the builds are centered around maxing out 1 type of elemental damage, but so far I don't have enough experience playing different characters to confirm that. To summarise, I very very highly recommend Grim Dawn. It is definitely worth your time and money even at full price, and buying it now on Steam Sale is an absolute no brainer.
