stuttering on a 4070 super is beyond foul. game looks like ♥♥♥♥ and it lacks a lot of quality of life, things like simple transmog is a paid DLC? Bruh wtf Another thing that some people might think is good, the game doesn't give you the slightest idea on where you're at the the world map, it doesn't have the usual "hand holding" from other games of the genre, which I don't like. there's also ZERO character editing.
This is probably my favorite ARPG. Like many others have said, this is definitely better than Diablo. It's hard to compare to Path of Exile, which I have loved, but I think this is better. In PoE even with the existence of Solo Self Found I felt that trading and interaction with others was a baked in aspect of the game. While Grim Dawn has multiplayer, it feels built and balanced around the solo experience. This made the game feel way more relaxing to me, like I can play at my own pace. Leveling up and character building is less intimidating than PoE, but still offers a great deal of depth and variety. I think the story is just enough to keep you moving from one map to the next, usual ARPG apocalyptic situation. There is an interesting world with a lot of lore text available if you want to get into it, but none of it is necessary to understand what is going on. Really fantastic game at full price, buying it on sale is an insane bargain.

Better than Diablo
A really great game to play in 2026! I have been playing it on my PC and steamdeck both!
