I enjoyed this game as much as I enjoyed the first Greedfall. The main story doesn't feel as urgent, because the villain is hardly mentioned. But the quests are interesting. I liked this set of companions better than the ones in Greedfall (which were also good). They seemed more fleshed out, except for one companion (Till), which made me wonder why he was there. I thought perhaps Spiders ran out of time with him. Combat: It's certainly different, and I'll admit that I used "god mode" for this first playthrough so I wouldn't have to contend with it. That way I could focus on the story and get used to the interface, etc., with no pressure. I'll be replaying the game without making my party invincible. It's great that the combat is customizable so you can make it as easy/difficult as you want. I experienced a handfull of crashes, and I ran into one main quest bug early on. But there are usually multiple ways to complete a quest, so I was able to work around it. The cities really feel alive, but sometimes it can be frustrating to figure out the route to a location. The landscapes are stunning, and the soundtrack is memorable. I think I like the music better than the first soundtrack (which I bought from Gamecamp separately). Overall, it's worth playing, especially if you liked the first game. It's more of the same, and if you hate the combat, you can make yourself invincible and enjoy the story, companions, and environments. It's worth it just for that. I'll be replaying this one for sure. Greedfall has so much interesting lore that I really hope Nacon continues the series somehow. It would be a shame if it dies here.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The story is okay, not great, but okay and weaker as GreedFall. The battle system is really weak and the gameplay and quests are stiill riddled with bugs. rip. :(
Pretty excellent game from a studio that will be missed If you want a AAA RPG experience, go play a AAA RPG If you want the same old hack-and-slash Witcher-lite combat, go play like 90% of other RPGs If you can't handle a bit a jank, probably don't go play anything, it's 2026, games don't get polished anymore Spiders made a unique world and atmosphere, with an enjoyable story, and some throwback style combat Solid 8.5/10, thoroughly enjoyable, looking forward to replaying it already
It has a surprisingly interesting story and characters, there are some performance issues though especially when the game first boots up as it takes time for textures to load. I enjoyed the game though and thought it raised some interesting points of view on various sociopolitical issues. The gameplay could be improved though but was at least satisfying enough for me to finish the game.
6/10 - Meh, this is more of a mixed recommendation. it's okay, but I didn't feel it is worth finishing for me when I have a decent sized backlog to get through. The combat and bugs didn't particularly bother me. What did, however, was a lot of the writing seemed very 'first draft' and that combined with the 'Teer Fradee' heavy accents made the dialogue a bit of a slog. It is clearly an unfinished game because you can notice the uneven quality of writing and quests. Maybe it evens itself out for the better later on in the game. So, it's a decent game but definitely a wait for sale.
Not great, but it is fine and I enjoyed it - much like Greedfall 1 rather rough and unpolished. The creators put much love into the world building and I personally liked the Dragon Age: Origin kind of combat. All in all it reminded me quite of Dragon Age 2: while playing through you realize a bunch of "wasted" potential due to weak or lazy or rushed storytelling (why does everyone just leaves their sinister plans and confessions scribbled down somewhere? why are secretive meetings always in a warehouse?) or flat dialogue. Much of the story lacks depth and engagement and feels somewhat forced and one also realizes that there is much cut content. Though there are also moments the story and the companions really shine. Playing through I found myself somewhat saddened at the thought of "what could have been?" if the developers have had more time and resources to properly finish it ... All in all, the story, the characters and the world were interesting enough to keep me going. If you are looking for "light" entertainment and if you do expect something between Dragon Age Origin or Dragon Age 2 or if you already played the first Greedfall: I am sure you will be enjoying it. It really feels like an old school dark fantasy RPG - even though somewhat unpolished and raw, but fine and and enjoyable though :)
Игра недоделанная, сырая. 2 квеста не проходятся, так и бросил. По стилю напоминает джедаев старой республики, механика игры та-же. Недоработаны романтические линии. Скучновато.
I've just completed the game. Done all the possible quests, maybe failed a couple of them. It took me 43 hours. So what can I say? SPIDERS, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Thank you for this wonderful experience. Your game gave me goosebumps several times. It's amazing! I was playing several games simultaneously when I started, but the deeper I went into the storyline the more I started forgetting about other games. I totally enjoyed it and now I'm planning to replay it, with a female character this time. That's my overall opinion. Now I'll make two lists. Things that I really like about the game and things that I like, but would also like to be improved. In case if there are any future updates are planned. (SPOILERS ALERT!!! DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU DIDN'T PLAY THE GAME) THINGS THAT I LIKE: - All companions are charming and captivating - Pretty faces and pleasant voices - Fausta's voice is expremely pleasant - I was happy to see Mev and d'Orsays - The main storyline and companions' quests are great! - The atmosphere and overall visuals were cool too. - The Congregation outfits are still the best. THINGS THAT I'D IMPROVE: - Please, make Fausta romancable - Give Till his own storyline, I'd gladly have some adventures with him - The main male-charcter's voice could be a bit more brutal or manly - Allow multiple romances and jealousy cut scenes - More romance interactions - Add more various bed scene animations - Add gear for levels 40 and above, The top armour was for level 34. I think there should be gear for level 50 as well. - The cut scenes of big emotional moments should be longer, like death of Nilan after attacking the Alliance. The reunion with the main character's mother should also be longer. The talks before and after the final assault should also be longer and etc. - As I realised, the events of this game were happening in parallel with the events of the first game. It would be nice to hear news from time to time of those events. Something like, Daren, the main character's mother could share some news about the death of Siora's mom after the battle with the Alliance. Mev could mention the disturbance of the High King Vinbarr about the actions of the Congregation nobles on the island and etc. You got the idea! - I like Admiral Cabral. I'd like to have more of her. - Only Congregations cities looked like there was a deadly desease. Other cities seemed more regular and unburdened by this desease. I think if you name the game "The Dying World", it should be depicted inside the game and every city. More tragic scenery in the cities, please! Every step should remind us that this is a dying land. Not only talks about it. - More mentions of De Sardet family please. You mentioned Aurelia De Vespe. So please mention De Sardet. That's all for now. Thanks again the wonderful experience! I'll be ready to buy any DLC you release and I'll be hoping for third game.
It's really sad that Spiders was forced to rush this out. What is here is pretty good by Spiders' standards and if you're a fan of their previous games there is definitely more of that weird magic they weave here. They traded the Witcher-lite combat for Dragon Age pause tactical and it's pretty fun. A lot of the fights aren't that challenging at least on normal, but towards the end there were a couple of fights that really forced me to pay attention which was nice. The characters are classic Spiders, even a coin guard who is dangerously close to just being Kurt again. You play as a native this time around which is a fun change of pace, and you get to explore Gacone this time around as your primary play area instead of the island of Taer Fradee, so you get to see some of the vassal states of Theleme, part of the Bridge Alliance in the form of Olima, and Peren which is the home of the Trade Congregation's own De Vespe family which you might remember if you played the first game's DLC. In a lot of ways this game IS bad. The writing feels one step over rushed, and everyone on your team is an absolute angel with a dark past, it's almost like a party of Wyll's but they're actually somewhat interesting. The combat, while being fun and a nice chill time to relax to, also feels underbaked and has seemingly very few skills that seem interesting or unique to that class of weapons or magics. However the art direction is incredible, just like the first game, I'd say this one is best played during the fall or whenever you are missing the fall. The auburn leaves in golden rays of light juxtaposed with sage green grasses and sparse bushes of the country sides, the towering man-made structures and cities in the distance strike the right kind of awe and the haphazard up-cycling of clothing and armors that the people of this world employ make for a striking and comfy aesthetic. The soundtrack is also a vibe with some truly standout boss tracks and excellent atmospheric music to set a tone. A lot of the tedious trekking from the first game has been smoothed out, I can't think of any quests that come close to being as boring and tedious as the Logging camp quest from GF1. In short: This game has so much heart and can really be incredible but a lot of shortcomings that can absolutely distract if you aren't willing to meet it a little more than half way and with some of your own imaginings to fill in any gaps that might come about. Nacom really screwed over Spiders on this game though, so much so that Spiders is no more which is truly sad, losing such an adorable AA dev studio really sucks.
