Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 28 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Ireland, October 29, 1897.
I’ll waste no time, since there’s none for wasting. I write from Blake Manor in Connemara.
Yesterday, a guest went missing – a young woman named Evelyn Deane. The owner and staff carry on as if nothing has happened.
She has not left, of that I am sure.

It is October 29th, 1897, and Private Investigator Declan Ward arrives at Blake Manor to find a missing woman.
What he finds is the Grand Séance and a group of mystics who have gathered from all corners of the world – waiting for All Hallow’s Eve, the night when the veil between worlds is thinnest. The night to tear down the barrier and speak to the dead.

Interview and interrogate your suspects, keep a record of all evidence, motivations, and clues in your journal, and confront them about their motivations when you’re certain of your deductions. Uncover the truth about Blake Manor and the mysterious séance that has brought everyone together.
Navigate Blake Manor's haunted corridors and uncover its secrets as you race against time to save Miss Deane.

Investigate the manor, solve environmental clues and reach the forbidden areas of the hotel…and beyond.
But be careful - each action counts the day down. Be in the right place at the right time to catch critical events pertinent to your investigation. Everyone has their own agendas and schedules – it could truly be a loss to miss out on a quick chat by mistiming your actions. And who knows what hidden secrets lie in wait once you’ve turned in for the night...

Brought to you by the creators of The Darkside Detective and Raw Fury, The Séance of Blake Manor is depicted by a beautiful comic-book art style. Inspired by Irish Mythology and the spiritualist movements of the Victorian era, players are cast into a first-person narrative adventure, blending the supernatural with a classic detective mystery. With its striking cutscenes, compelling narrative and dynamic soundtrack that reacts to the environment around you, Blake Manor and its secrets will leave you on the edge of your seat morning through night.
...I know the West of Ireland might as well be the far side of the world, for its distance from you but there is no one else to turn to.
I hear you are an honourable man, a steadfast investigator. And – perhaps most importantly – godly.
I pray for the girl that this is true...

Reviews
The Seance of Blake Manor is a visual novel masquerading as a detective game. The game presents the player with an interesting world and characters, but it does not present the player with any interesting decisions. While, yes, there are fail states and suboptimal ways to approach the mystery, the game does a good job of quickly communicating what to focus your time and attention on. Once you figure this out, the rest of the game is gravy. It might as well be on rails. The devs had no interest in providing the player with meaningful friction. If the game were labeled a visual novel, I'd have no issue with it, but it's marketed as a detective game. I never felt like a detective. If you would like to feel like one, I'd suggest you pick up one of the Golden Idol games or The Roottrees are Dead.
Disappointed. I expected a detective game. It's more of a visual novel, there is no brain power needed here.

This first hour of this game trains you what the rest of the game will be: sacrificing curiosity and exploration to limit yourself to collecting a few key clues and ignoring the rest. What a disappointment, I was really looking forward to investigating clues and formulating conclusions. The game punishes you with limited time and ends your game for having fun, making conversation and trying to understand the world better. This is just not the game for me. I like to take my time, fully explore every aspect of a game and complete it with 100%. This game punishes that--makes you stay on rails. Sadly, it's not even worth me finishing.
A good Detective game, where you are forced to not ask every question, check every corner and might have to sacrifice your own curiosity at times to solve the mysteries. The time limit keeps you in check to make sure you dont ask every question known to man, but its also not too punishing when you get a handle on it. There is horror in the game, but its mostly atmospheric and not game defining. A bit of voice acting, but a lot of the game is up to you to read. The "puzzles" and mysteries are fairly straight forward and not difficult, but they do require you to explore the mansion and particular questions at times. I highly recommend trying the demo it will give you the wibes how most of the game will feel.
Such a wonderful game! The writing is great, the '1 minute per action' mechanic was refreshing and fun (you kind of train your brain to recognize which items or topics do not worth your time as you play). There were many characters and at first it felt overwhelming, but as you explore the manor and investigate the mysteries behind each person, they really stand out. I also really enjoyed the mysterious atmosphere with rain ambience and spooky music. And of course, this game is the perfect example of 'edutament' - it was so interesting to learn about Irish culture!
Detective on autopilot I can see why the game has mostly positive reviews here and there but to me this game mostly screams wasted potential. The potential is the dark story and how it intertwines with Irish folklore in a fitting setting (although mysterious manors have been done and done) and how the gameplay presents itself in the first 10 minutes. You are in fact introduced to the mechanics of investigation and how you sometime have to do a bit of work (=interaction) to find actual evidence, as well as how you should be careful on when entering and exiting rooms because you don't want to be found out by the guests. After this tutorial it all goes downhill. You're basically handed everything you need on a silver plate. You can ask other guests about their schedule directly or just place your ear on their room's door and choose the command listen to magically understand immediately if there's anyone inside, so forget about the thrill and being careful. The investigation for evidences is a classic "point and click" and there's actually almost no interactions and puzzles. What's sad is that 99% of the time you already know which objects are actually useful and which ones are not. This is valid for every room so investigation grows old extremely fast. The occasional locked down safes you find in some rooms are almost an insult to the player for how easy they are to crack open. I'll always remember that one in the staples which has, spoiler alert, the solution literally carved on the wall on its right (you can highlight every interactable object so you can't really miss it). The ultimate hand holding may be just how the game tells you what you should be focusing on in the investigation for your the next step, if you have to go speak with a suspect more or just search their room more thoroughly for more evidences. All of the above leads to a very streamlined progress and close to no satisfaction. That said, if you don't like complicated puzzles and theories and want nonetheless to enjoy an investigation game this might be for you.
Loved the game. Very fun, very atmospheric. My one and only gripe (well I suppose I have two, including no fast travel) is how easy it is to miss out on two achievements. Spoiler warning. Not analysing/discussing Domhnall Ó Finn's crown to unlock a couple of discussion points before the Masked Ball event (a forced event) will lock you out of completing his mystery and getting the achievement, which means you're also locked out of the World's Greatest Detective achievement for completing all mysteries. I can't even go back to a previous point to correct that mistake then skip through to the point where I can form the hypothesis, because you need to complete all mysteries in the one playthrough, which the achievement does not say. I absolutely refuse to replay this entire game just for those two achievements. What a joke, what a sour taste it has left in my mouth. Apart from that (and no fast travel because holy crap does it get tedious in day 3 when you're constantly retracing steps to talk to everyone and finish their mysteries) I thoroughly enjoyed the game.
